Absolutely amazing food (especially the garlic prawns), service & atmosphere! I went here yesterday with some of my family and we all loved our experience here. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the best of Spanish food! : )
A lovely, off the beaten path spot for a romantic dinner. The food was wonderful and the sangria was spot on. There are many wine options. I do wish the tapas portions were smaller so we could’ve tried more things. Overall, it was a unique experience and a nice change up from busy city spots.
One of the best if not the best Spanish restaurant in Sydney. Good venue for big groups, good selection of dishes and wine, good service. What more can you ask for Highly recommended
A disappointing night with regard to the food. Ordered garlic King Prawns for entre - they were not king prawns. So, if you put King Prawns on the menu, make sure you serve king prawns - these were normal sized prawns charged at a king prawn price. The garlic sauce was very bland and not much garlic flavour. This was not a good start to the meal. Then ordered seafood paella for mains - for 3 people ($80) - what another disappointment - bland, very small portion for three people, not much seafood, the paella pan was only 1/3 filled - everyone on the table commented about the portion size being very small for $80 and the very mean portions of seafood. Lastly, also thought we'd try the Sangria - another terrible disappointment - It tasted like cordial - $30 for a 1 litre jug of cordial. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here again and will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
One positive note, the staff very good and very attentive - pity the food let them down for the whole experience.
We booked for a birthday and had previously visited on a Saturday night. However this time we visited a few months later on a Sunday night and started our night sadly with sour sangria which was then replaced after getting the waiter to try, who also agreed. The prawns with coconut & lime looked as though they were from a defrosted pack prawns, then put on a plate with some sauce poured on top. The worst part was the octopus. DO NOT ORDER IT. One tentacle cut up into 1cm pieces, burnt and circled on a plate around some mashed potato. The audacity to charge $30 for that was ridiculous and no other alternative offered or warning given about the serving size. Their excuse is that it is a main and a serving for 1 however all waiters were aware how terrible this dish was and agreed. We ordered paella for 5, however to charge approx $160 was over the top. Our waiter was so lovely if it wasn’t for him going back to the kitchen and providing feedback the night would have been a complete tragedy he is the reason I’m even giving a 1 star rating. Save your money and don’t go.
