Passing through this sleepy town we pulled over and ordered a meal. it was over cooked and the pricey the coffee was cold and once we complained to a grumpy rude old women who should change or job or stay home, the other staff where the saddest looking people who just didn't want to be there so much for friendly country folk! by pass this shop maybe the pub meals would of been a better option

My wife and I recently ate at this place and were bitterly disappointed with the meal we ordered. It simply was not what it was made out to be. I ordered the rissoles which were advertised as 100% pure minced rump steak which sounded great. When the meal arrived I was presented with two flat as a pancake hamburger patties which tasted of 100% sausage mince. The "chef" tells me these are made from pure rump steak seasoned with sausage seasoning.this may or may not be so, but as a trained cook with many years experience, I could still only describe these patties as nothing more than sausage mince hamburger patties.
My wife ordered the Newbridge rump steak pie and had visions of a lovely pie filled with chunky rump steak. Of course when this pie arrived it was much the same as any other pie from any other bakery. It may have indeed been made with rump steak, but not of the chunky type. Just your typical mince and gravy in a rather small for the price pie shell which had been microwaved, as evidenced by it's soggy and rubbery consistency.
Both meals were accompanied by the mandatory frozen chips and an assortment of steamed vegetables which were almost cooked.
We certainly felt that we had wasted our money at this place.
