Seems a good idea while on holidays but no.
Hangover & taste so so, not like the proper drinks.
My partner & I love this wineone of the best we have tasted.
We did a tasting with one of the owners, and it was fantastic. She was very informative and patient with all of our questions. The wines were great, a few were unique to the region as they're made with endemic fruits. (You should know there are no grape wines, only local fruit wines). Overall, a highly recommended stop.
Great tasting and unique wines - a must for every visitor to Queensland. Very friendly staff(owners). We first discovered it 2 years ago and make a point of popping in any time we pass through the area. I would list my favourite wine but love them all!
Murdering Point Winery was a great experience. Our family of five stumbled on this diamond when we were heading home to South Australia (Wine - Shiraz country) from our Cape trip. Three of the family(who own and run the place were behind the counter and all contributed to an awesome tasting experience which encompassed 21 to 50 something year olds. There is something for all tastes. Our FAVOURITE was the MOCHA CREAM, then Peppermint and Banana Cream. Winter we love the SAPOTE PORT. We will order more soon on line as we are so far away.
Lovely people and great atmosphere. A little off the beaten track but well worth it to see their incredible range of tropical fruit wines. They were happy to talk us through a tasting of several products. The wines make great presents because they are unique, nice to look at, inexpensive, and because of the interesting backstory to Murdering Point.
