Well laid out bike and walking paths, easy walking.
Great area for a bushwalk, run or a cycle. The twilight tours are excellent, but expensive. The eastern bettongs are very cute at night - if you're quiet and look around they'll let you get quite close.
If you like nature, native animals and bush walks, this is a fantastic location to explore.
A great walking track
Great access to some really good Bush walking trails. Lots of wildlife to see beyond the standard Kangaroos and Wallabies with turtles, lizards and Echidnas smattered throughout the woodlands.
A nice walking / riding circuit to help keep fit.
A beautiful conservation ark on the northern border of Canberra. Echidnas are easy to spot (there's usually a couple within 100 yards of the main gate) and there's plenty more wildlife to see - especially at dawn and dusk. The night tours are also brilliant. Bring your kids and your camera.
Panoramic views lots of flora and fauna.
Drove all the way from Curtin to go explore the Mulligans Flat Sanctuary this afternoon and was very disappointed by signs being posted everywhere saying "Reserve Closed - Danger - Firearms in use, Entry onto this land is prohibited between the hours of 3pm-7am from 16/05/2016 to midnight 31/07/2016". Would have been nice to have had a heads up!
