Waterpark was great! My son loved it! Food took ages and I thought was a tad expensive but seemed good quality. Would go there again!

Good ol' fish 'n' chips or a big fat burger! It's a perfect spot to take the kids. There is a water playground right next to it and a pile of climbing things. Right on the esplanade. Get amongst it 😎

Location to the playground is great, food tends to be fine, but sadly service can be lacking (disinterested attendants, incorrect order numbers bring called out, then irritated staff at uncollected food when they are at fault for calling the wrong number).

There's nothing like this in Cairns, or almost anywhere else really.
The kids can run around, climb, get in the water safely and in a clean and very well taken care of park.
Mum and dad get great coffee, really great meals (try the crispy chicken honey mustard burger) and great fish and chips.response / report this review -

Great staff and food is fast and delicious! Highchairs and baby friendly. Make sure to pack your kids swim things as the water park is unavoidable!

Excellent spot. Very relaxing. Staff are all very friendly and everytime we went there the food was fantastic. The dj on Saturday for kids was a nice touch.

Muddies does great fish and chips, but it's always busy and the prices are premium tourist tax level. The playground is a amazing, though and putting up with the kids wanting an ice cream or overpriced F&C is the price you pay.

The view is definitely the winning feature but was just another cafe with food and drinks which were usually pretty good. Great spot for family with a playground nearby. Lots of seating. Normally friendly and efficient staff (second visit was a little slow). Place was clean and tidy.
