Nice movie theatre under the stars.
Overall the place is nice, but:
Be ready to pay extra $10 for bean bag. Adding the price of the ticket it is quite a lot, e.g. bean bags provided for free at Girls School Cinema
The sound might be quiet in the far end
    Chips might be over fried
    Mosquitos are present
It is getting cold at night

The staff were excellent, and the area and setup is very pleasant. However, there were some logistic frustrations in the general admission area, such as:
    - application of the "chairs behind beanbags" rule.
    - difficulty in taking a toilet break.
    - price of beanbags
My recommendation is to go for the connoisseur lounge area. I think overall that's the sweet spot of options. General admission I'd say is not worth it, unless you can choose any spot you like (right at the front), and you're taking your own beanbags (chairs are not allowed at the front, and rented beanbags are expensive.)

Really cool. Suprised you had to buy the beanbags as extras. And definitely need to take bug spray/cream.

But was a really cool experience. Would highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Top score Kings Park. Grass was a carpet, staff were friendly. Lovely evening. Did a father and sons evening. Guys walking around in all the Star War Characters, you guessed it. Watched the good old Star Wars.will definitely do this again.Jedi time

Bought Connoisseur tickets for Guardians of the Galaxy, great value and great night out. If you're looking for a cool night watching a film in the park, this should be on your list. It did get a bit cool so take a jumper or wrap. The bean-bags are comfy and definitely the way to go.

Some recent reviews seemed a bit harsh - not sure what they expected, but I was fully happy with the night, keep it real and you won't be disappointed.

Most of the world is in lockdown and we were drinking beer in the park watching a classic - way to go WA.

Lovely outdoor cinema with a large screen. Definitely an experience worth trying (tickets $18 each), although you might want to bring your own pillows/beanbag and food. You can hire beanbags there for $9 each.

The Gold Grass experience was nice but didn't quite meet our expectations. The beanbags were fine, but much closer to the ground than at Joondalup Pines outdoor movies, which means that one feels the dampness of the ground. Take a blanket even on a very warm day because the dampness seems to rise in the evening. If I had known that the food was mostly fried fare, I would have taken my own dinner. We appreciated the wait service included in our ticket. The venue is pleasant.
