Made an appointment for a new suit and was pleased with the level of service provided by Elizabeth and the team. The fitting and measurement process was detailed and efficient to such a degree that upon pick up, no further adjustments were required. Great attention to detail was provided and consideration of customer requirements was appreciated.

For the price of the suit I have no hesitation in recommending Montagio to others.

I recently purchased a tuxedo for my wedding from Montagio’s Sydney outlet. They provide custom made suites and tuxedos which are created in Thailand and imported into the country using measurements taken and materials selected in the Sydney store. I found their prices were a lot more reasonable than other stores in Sydney. I was happy with the fit and appearance of the final product. I was most impressed with the high level of personalized service that I was provided, from the moment I walked into the store to the final fitting. The store was very accommodating to my requests and maintained a great line of communication, which was important as I actually traveled down to Sydney from North Queensland in order to purchase this suit and needed to know time frames for booking repeat travel. On the negative side of things and the reason I can't give 5 stars is that there were a couple of things wrong with the ordered tux, which I suspect was miscommunication between the store and their producer in Thailand. (1) The presence of belt loops was easily ameliorated in store (they were removed) but the (2) Lack of a lapel buttonhole for the boutonniere was a problem as on my wedding day I had to pin it through the lapel (which would damage set lapel and it kept falling to the side), which was less than ideal. I did specify the above two features in my original order and given I spent nearly 2 and a half grand I was disappointed this wasn't correct in the final product.

However, overall my experience with Montagio was a positive one and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Absolutely Brilliant! Jatin, Fred and the rest of the team could not have been better. We wanted our son to feel extremely special in buying his suit for his upcoming wedding. We wanted it to be an experience like the bride feels when she buys her wedding dress. Montagio did not disappoint. As we live 500km from Sydney, we rang around quite a few suit specialist to gain a feel of which one would provide the best experience. Montagio won hands down. Jatin at once knew what we wanted and they even supplied bubbles for my wife, daughter and future daughter-in-law and the whiskey for our son and myself. From the moment we arrived (quite noisily with the five of us), Jatin guided us through the process. His expertise in advising our son on colour, fabric, style and individuality so that he will shine as the groom, was intuitive and incredible. He then turned his focus to me. He knew exactly what would suit my body type (not quite the same as a fit young 25 year old) and again expertly advised me on what would look great on me. A month later we return for the fitting - how good do we look! Our son's suit with it's embroidered personal note inside the jacket, fitted like a glove and he looks amazing in it. My suit was equally brilliant but needed slight adjustment to the sleeve and they did it that day for us which was so accommodating as we flew down for the fitting and did not want to have to make another trip. We thank Jatin and the team immensely. We are so excited to go to our son's wedding looking so amazing.

The team at Montagio, Bally and their exceptional tailor Kathy have a real eye for detail who work around the clock and go the extra mile over and beyond that expected to get every detail just right. I was, and continue to be very impressed with their service each time.

Highly recommended for a fine tailored suit tailored to every body type.

An absolute pleasure to have found this place. The entire experience was easy, comfortable and precise. Jatin and team everybody produced a spectacular product in time and on budget! The suit was a perfect fit with all the accessoriss to go with creating the perfect match of what I envisioned for my special occassion.

Suit doesn't fit snug on shoulder. It folds.
When point this out to tailor, say wear ot for 30 days and it'll mould to shoulder. They dismissed my comment saying that I don't know what I'm talking about because tailor suit is different to off the rack.
Wear it for more than 2 months and it doesn't mould to shoulder.
Fits worse than my off the rack suits.
Would not return.

It was my first visit of this kind of store, so I can't compare with other places. The whole transaction went pretty smooth, they gave me plenty of options, they were open to my ideas, they've created exactly what I wanted. The one missing star is because I'd appreciate a tiny bit more of attention, as I spent more than a thousand dollars there, I was quite nervous about if the suit looked ok, etc. As I said, it was my first visit of tailor store, so maybe that's how it goes. And the missing personal touch, which I'm talking about, is what makes good places great and special. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.
