Really good food everything was great. Helpful friendly staff/owners made some good suggestions. It was my son's 13th birthday we got some complimentary desserts to try it was his choice coz he loves curry will definitely be back. I recommend giving them a go if you haven't already.👍👍👍
This restaurant is just awesome. We dined as a group and enjoyed every dish. This one beats most Melbourne city Indian restaurants fair and square. Good quantity and pricing and excellent service. Would return to Ballarat just to have food from here.
Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Ballarat! The food we order looked beautiful and the taste was fantastic! We've been to many Indian restaurants throughout Asia, having lived in the region for many years, and this restaurant provides the same authentic and delicious cuisine. Very glad we decided to try this one and we certainly plan to come back again and again. Love the place and the service too!
Food is always fresh and made as per my expectation. Staff is very well behaved and the owner is a very humble and welcoming man, he always adds his personal touch to everything me and my family orders.
When you visit ask for Aasif the owner and you ll be amazed by his hospitality and attention to your taste palates.
Most recommended Indian cuisine restaurant.
Delicious food! The perfect spice level we got and the best part were the naans. They were so perfect that even if you did not order any curry, you would have been fine.
Compliments to everyone working in the restaurant.
Thank you very much for your service.
Waited 1hr and 20 mins for order bought lamb rogan josh and chicken korma for $16 each they both had only 6/7 pieces of meat in small takeaway containers
Definately not worth the money ! Total buy $60 to feed family it did not
If you are looking for typical Indian flavoured food, this place is heaven for you. It feels like you are at home with such a friendly staff treating you as family.
I have been to Masala Valley. Excellent fresh food and excellent customer service. Would recommend everyone to check out there food.
I have eaten in many Indian restaurants and this is one of the best I have tried. The service was very friendly and efficient.
Food arrived piping hot and in good time. The menu contains a good number of house specialities which are a cut above the normal menu offerings. I tried one of these and it was delicious. The restaurant is small and cosy - could do with some redecoration but this was nothing serious.
I just absolutely LOVE the Samosa's. It is a ritual of mine to get them when we visit the Bridge Mall Market and the Lake Side Market.
I was teally impressed with the service when they offered to make my mum who is wheat intolerant a "special samosa" using the batter from the eggplant instead. She was really appreciative of the extra service particularly at a market.
Fantastic food. A very unassuming place, but this was the real deal - aromatic curries cooked while you wait instead of the mediocre bain marie food that I typically see in Indian diners.

I have been going to Masala Valley for lunch a few days a week for many years I love the good wholesome Indian food, affordable prices and of course Asif's welcoming smile. The quality of the meals is consistent and I think has improved over time 10/10 a very happy diner.
I am a regular customer of the Masala Valley restaurant. Foods are high quality and very much taste and cheaper compared with other restaurants in Ballarat. Every day we can experience variety of tastes and really great. There is a friendly environment and the room is more clean actually it is a very good place to have our meal. Furthermore, it provides us a friendly customer service it provides us value for money really.
Imagine perfectly cooked rice and tender beef ha! No need when you have masala valley my suggestion is the beef vinderloo, absolutely outstanding meal 5 out of 5 stars I wish I could give you more!
Masala Valley make the tastiest veggie samosas you will find in sunny Ballarat. Asif and his crew are super friendly and provide great service. The location - just near the Ballarat railway station - means Masala Valley is a favourite for travellers, too! If you haven't visited, check them out! Take-away or sit-down menu available. :)
Great samosas and delicious butter chicken. I would recommend this restaurant.
Got there late for lunch about 3pm, was one of the few places still open. Had a butter chicken buffet special running. Buffet was closed and they had run out of Butter Chicken by the time I walked and made up a new batch just for me. Generous portions, competitive prices and taste wise as good as any Indian food I have had. Will definitely be going back.
Come to masala if you want genuine Indian food at a competitive price. No other store in Ballarat that I know of compares to this family run business. Located in Ballarat on lydiard St 1 minute walk from the station. So next time you visit Ballarat pop in and grab meat Samosa.
Two friends and I drove up to Ballarat today 19 Aug 2016 for a look around. It was a very cold and wet day but fortunately found the Masala Valley Indian restaurant to warm up in and enjoy our lunches. We started with meat samosas followed by Butter Chicken and a Beef curry all served with fresh fluffy white rice. All of our dishes were really nice and the chef made us feel very welcome. The prices were very reasonable and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an honest Indian eating experience in Ballarat.
