My Husband and I had a lovely lunch yesterday, the prawns were superb and service was excellent.

However, when paying the bill with credit card, we were ask if “we are leaving something for the staff” ???

We have travelled all over the world, experimenting world class restaurants fine dining and never being ask such a question!
We usually leave tips in cash for the staff to enjoy strait away.

I believe tips are voluntary and that kind of soliciting is unethical.

I did find very rude to put customer in a spot in this manner, and for this reason, we will not frequent this restaurant any more.

Dined here a few weeks ago with a friend visiting from overseas. Well the view was nice as was the service. The food on the other hand - steaks overcooked, vegetable side dish arrived 20 minutes after the meatdisappointed to say the least.

Love going to Le Parisien. Been many times & as I am a fussy eater they are always happy to make my food the way I like it! Wait Staff were friendly, thank you to Corey for making our night! Also thanks to owner Jean Paul, thanks for the chat. We'll see you next time we're in town!

Excellant service from all staff . greeting was warm and inviting .
Wine list very good , with good options . Food could not fault .Ive dinned here over the past 41 years . Standard has never dipped .One of the best dinning venues in Geelong .I will be back again .

My fiance and my self love fine dining. Around Geelong Le Parisien. Is both friendly and has the food to match. This is our 6th time back.

Friendly staff, good harbor view. Meal was average. Ordered king fish, seafood fruit meldley and grilled oysters. Not as expected good. My conclusion is that the best french restraunt in Australia is still in Melbourne city.

Have had several work dinners/functions in the top room. Food has always been delicious. A decent size wine list also. One of the finer dining restaurants in Geelong.
