I lived on Lilyfield since 1974 until my husband passed away 2016
I Enjoy Marketplace This is where my husband shopped n I do 3 times a week.
I quite like Leichhardt marketplace. Filocamo optometrist, gym and Trim's food are highlights here. There's a big ramp if you go to ALDI, so it's not great if you find pushing a full trolley difficult. The Foodcourt is OK, but nothing amazing.
undergoing some renovation. A bit dark and don't have many trendy shops. Good for quick shopping.
Woolies, Target and all your regular shopping center stores. There's a dollar store in the basement and a nice Italian specialist grocery store on Level 1.
I just don't understand why they would build a mall on an angle This is not the place u want to shop at if u have any mobility issues, strollers or push carts. The shop options are good..but the general design of the entire mall is off.
Very nice shopping centre i love everything is going well for me, car parking, and the people who work in Merket place i like the idea of the people
I've recently started coming here as an alternative to Broadway for my grocery shopping and it's great. The mall has a nice big woollies, Aldi, Target plus some other nice little shops. It's not as big as Broadway but it's much quieter.
Convenient shopping centre but still less stores available. Even Target is small and no many products available in other target store. Only Woolworth is the bigger store. Free parking which is good.
Quirky small mall that is surprisingly complete. Will be better when new lifts and Ramps are in. They are almost ready.
Ingredients
Serves: 8
500g ready-prepared shortcrust pastry
500g chopped rhubarb
1 1/3 cups caster sugar
6 tablespoons plain flour
30g butter
Preheat oven to 230 degrees C.
Line a 23cm pie plate or dish with pastry. Ensure that some pastry hangs over the edge of the dish.
Combine sugar and flour. Sprinkle 1/4 of the mixture over pastry in the pie dish. Heap rhubarb over this mixture. Sprinkle with remaining sugar and flour. Dot with butter. Cover the top with pastry, and pinch edges together to seal. Cut four slits in the top of the pastry for steam to escape.
Bake for 15 minutes and then reduce oven temperature to 180 degrees C and continue baking for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or custard.
Handy spot with right mix of shops to get all your shopping done.
Lots of shops and easy to park. Far better than my former local, Marrickville Metro.
Good place. Good parking. Good woolworths.
Great local, basically all the essentials, the sushi in the food court is great, parking can be an issue on Saturday's.
Nice little shopping centre, the food court has some nice options. It's always easy to get a parking spot on the roof
