Really good "History of the Area" museum. I have been empressed with the standard of the Information Centers we have seen through out Qld. Information given by the helpful staff was spot on. Would have liked better maps of the Mareeba township & the National Parks in the area. Definitely worth a visit.

Favourite place in town for the whole family. Always something new happening, fantastic food in the coffee house, and the most friendly, welcoming staff at the front desk.

Very helpful staff. The historical museum is excellent. We stopped in on our way to the tip of Cape York, again on the way back south.

Gives you a lot of history around Mareeba since the sugarcane and tobacco farming days and the cafeteria makes great food

Wonderful place to explore and learn more about Australian battlers. Gain insight into the extraordinary people who explored the area and made a life for themselves.
