  After checking their website I thought I was dealing direct with the operator of the tour, however after further research I realized this is not the operator at all and just a booking site. What a way of false advertising.

  Hi Mel and Birgit,
  
  I just wanted to drop you a line to say a big thank you for helping us organise our September trip to Cape York. The cargo boat was an extra special experience and Im so glad you convinced me to take it Mel. Our guides were fantastic and the group got on really well so overall it was a great experience.
  
  We have been telling all people we meet on our roadtrip around Australia that they should visit Cape York as they wont be disappointed.

  In May 2015 my husband and I fulfilled a life long dream to get to the very top of Australia.
  
  We had a great time with Cape York Tours and they looked after us from start to finish.
  The Booking was easy, they arranged accommodation for us in Cairns, the 7 day tour we went on was fantastic and the walk from the car park at the top of Australia was timed perfectly so we could walk along the beach which is the most direct path. Then to have our photo taken at the very top of Australia just finished our holiday off perfectly.
  
  We camped on our tour and I would recommend hiring a stretcher as it gave us more room in our tent to store our bags under the stretcher bed.
  Dont forget to take a torch for those late night treks to the bathroom..
  The food was amazing and I was envious of the meals we were served which were cooked on a campfire.
  The guide was great and safety was paramount.
  
  Overall this was one of the best holidays I have ever been on and we have told many of our friends that this is something they should all experience.
  
  I hope you get a chance to travel on a Cape York tour with this company.

  In May 2015 my wife and I booked a 12 day Cape York tour that went from Cairns on the Cargo boat. We had the best time on this tour starting from the very comfortable accommodation on the boat (not to mention the food on the boat as it was amazing) to the clean and comfy tents used for camping on the way back to Cairns. Our driver was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot of the history and fauna of the Cape. The hostess cooking our meals did a great job over the campfire and I even managed to put on a kilo as a result of the food!
  
  Dont worry if you dont like walking too much as the walk to "The Tip" of Australia is the only slightly hard walk.
  Dont forget to pack you swimsuit as the waterfalls on Cape York make for easy swimming for your tour group.
  
  Overall I rate the whole trip a great success and recommend everyone ticks this trip of there bucket lists.
