This is our new go-to Greek restaurant. Some of the best Greek food in Melbourne, fantastic service, family friendly for early hours (which suits us), and a great atmosphere.

Perfect food, perfect host. This is the best greek restaurant in Melbourne by any rating. Highly recommended - never had a less than excellent experience whenever we come here. Make sure you come hungry 😀

Best grilled whole fish in Melbourne .
Great variety of great food . All in all an excellent restaurant .
with very obliging staff.

Love the Greek restaurants in Melbourne as food is full of flavour.
Beautifully decorated tavern which has been around for a long time .
I'm really disheartened that I write this review however our experience was a let down .
The older waitress we had probably got us on the wrong foot from the beginning of the night . Pushy into ordering what she thought was appropriate for our group instead of leaving this decision up to us.
The food ???? Parts of it ok with the dips and bread sensational as was the perfectly cooked saganaki.
The seafood platter was a train wreck. For a group of six not enough prawns for everyone and definitely not enough fish to be shared. Calamari wasn't right as it seemed to be missing any flavour.
The meat platter equally poor. Once again serving size has to be questioned . I've seen kids meals bigger than what we received.
The issue is not one of price as we were happy to pay as when going out we don't focus on cost. What we look for is quality food and atmosphere.
The problem here was food servings extremely on the small side and food quality was weak.response / report this review -

My husband and I were walk-ins on Saturday night 29 August 2016. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a lovely table by the open fire. The service was very friendly and efficient. Our food was amazing, just loved it. We had drinks too and it was $48.00 a head for 2 courses including drinks - not pricey at all.
