Chris is excellent, really knows his wine and great to have a chat with. The winery is beautiful, with a stunning veiw from the resturant and free range chickens cruising around the gardens. Oh and the wine I can definitely say you will most likely leave with atleast a bottle. Minimum!

We went there all the way from Sydney. Made a booking for lunch. Directed by Google map, we just followed the Google directory, noticed the gate was open, we went in and met the two owners, they stopped us and said there is a stop sign at the gate and chased us out like chasing the dog by shouting "OUT!OUT!", attitude was so disrespectful, rude and aggressive!They expect new customers know everything about the entrance and exit. How funny?! I don't understand why can't they just speak properly and direct us in a nice way instead. We were so upset and ended up left the place with full of disappointment. This is such a very terrible experience. We will never ever visit there anymore.

We went there to spend the day and it was a very dissapointing experience. The woman selling the wine tastings would only let us walk in the shop and with a very rude attitude even stopped us from going to the bathroom! No explanation. We were also stopped from going for a walk outside. Incredibly rude manners. It is not worth the visit and very average wine for the price. We should have listened to other reviews before going
there.

Excellent food but the portions are tiny for the price (expect to order three "sharing dishes" between two people). Wait staff were friendly but not the most attentive. Nice view!

Food was overpriced for amateur culinary. Ordered the wine with lunch and supposedly 50ml is a standard serving for a $20 glass of wine. Waiters were rude. Did not have the wine tasting as the cellar was hot (I worry about the storage of the wine) and the lady that did the tasting was patronising and rude.
There are a lot better wineries to visit in the area then this one!

Visited on our way to Eden. Great selection of wines. Good value. Sue was really helpful and after we told her we were on way to Eden she went to the trouble of writing down a list of places we might like to visit. A must stop if you can appreciate a fine wine.

Sue at the cellar door was rude, patronising and passive agressive. Wines were ok at best, but the atrocious service means Lark Hill should be avoided at all costs.
