Good food, long wait, big group was not well managed, management change over has some teething issues.

The food was great but after being told the Paella would be 40 mins, it was literally 1.5 hours by the time our group of 10 were served. The waitress did her best to report in but you can only get “it’s ready in 15 minutes” twice before you start to get angry. Yes, it was a last minute booking, and yes the manager reluctantly agreed to give us our sides for free but for over $450 in meals I think this could’ve been handled much better. It was like the manager and staff didn’t even realise there was a problem and we were being unreasonable. So 1 star for the food and 1 for the effort the waitress showed in being unfailingly optimistic and friendly, but I would not recommend for a big group until they sort out their logistical problems.

It is one of the best places along the Great Ocean Road - excellent fresh and local seafood. It does get busy during peak holiday seasons - good staff and the chef offers a range of fresh caught fish. Most of the products are sourced as local as possible. Brand new menu is excellent - ENJOY!

Great food and service!I had the fish of the day ,caught from Apollo Bay and it was delicious and fresh! My husband had a perfectly cooked T-bone steak. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here, and decided again very soon.

The fish was so fresh and so tasty. The sides were also good. They use the best ingredients and the cooking really brings out the flavours. Wish i had room to try more dishes. Service was fantastic as well. Definitely a place to visit for anyone driving along the great ocean road.

They have good view and the interior is not bad.
I have really limited time to order paella and the big fish for 2 because it's gonna take more than 40mins. The calamari is really good but the not really satisfied with other fish dishes and farmer's platter.

I am really not satisfied with the service, they did not serve the water before the crowd came in, it's not being serve untill we finished our meal. I have to walk to them in order to get the water and get the glasses to the table by my ownself.

Worth it for the amazing view alone - really lovely spot to sit and watch the mountains and the beach. Good breakfast options - Turkish eggs were excellent.

Great place for dinner. The king prawns were spectacular! We also had a whole John dory fish and sides of beetroot, potatoes and green beens. Was not disappointed! Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Delicious food made with obviously fresh and quality produce. Definitely on the pricey side considering the serving size (the king whiting pictured below cost, if memory serves, around $35-40), but in the end we didn't mind because everything tasted fantastic. (As a side note, there were a lot of flies buzzing around our area while we ate, which became quite frustrating as we had to actively defend our food from them. Reader mileage may vary.)
