I spent three nights here on my recent solo traverse of the Great Ocean Walk and can say it was the most welcome respite of my entire journey. I arrived cold, wet and hours early and was welcomed immediately and made at home with a much needed cuppa and the fire was cranked up just for me. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that my stay was quiet, comfortable and restful - exactly what I wanted and needed. The food was outstanding - healthy, plentiful and made by hand with love, care and attention - the home made meusli, freshly baked bread and packed lunches were perfect fare for walking and recovery. Two of my three nights I shared dinner with other guests and my final night on my own I enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the deck watching the sun go down - a wonderful ending to a fantastic stay - almost equalled by watching the sun rise over my final breakfast the next day. The views were to die for; the peace and tranquillity amazing - truly an oasis from the world. Many thanks for a wonderful break.
