Excellent service with smiles all round. Cheeriest information centre I've been to. All the usual trinkets and very helpful advice. Drop in for a chat and take your picture with the model cassowary :-)

Plenty of information of the town and walking tracks in the area. Friendly staff. Nice little aboriginal town where to eat some amazing local fruits and beautiful aboriginal art shops.

Informative, Helpful and Friendly
We had Margaret serve us and assist with information about what to see and do in Kuranda.
POSITIVE
Very friendly and helpful
Gave us ideas and directions
Loads of brochures and booklets
Postcards from $1.50
NEGATIVE
Two people during holidays are not enough, although both Margaret and the man on duty were lovely, there was a line waiting to be served or gain information

I've been in a lot of visitor information center but I think this is the best service I ever got. The person that answered my question was visibly loving his job and was proud of his village. He even went outside to show us where the walk we were planning on doing was starting.
