I had a problem with my recording interface. Kaz & Glen were really helpful & friendly. These guys really know their stuff. They sorted out the problem. It's things like this that have kept me coming back to Kosmic for decades.

The staff are all extremely helpful, kind, and willing to do anything and everything to make sure that what you're purchasing is right for you, your budget, and your music. I never caught the guy's name (or, maybe I did, but I've just totally forgotten), but I had just purchased some studio monitorsand damn, these boxes were huge to carry. I didn't have a car with me at the time.
The extent he went to to make sure my monitors were safe and sound and wouldn't cause me any hassle was amazing. Really made my day even better. Like I said, this guy deserves a raise for his efforts. He was at the counter in the same section with a guy named Spencer, who was also a stand-out employee who really helped me out.
Anyways, the guy who served me, offered to give me a lift after they had shut, so I didn't have to carry the studio monitors all the way from Osborne Park to Cannington. And that's just what he did. Not only this, but he stopped by his place to see if he had any spare cables to give me, as we forgot to get them sorted back at the store. Give this guy a raise. I don't think I've ever experienced such willing and amazing customer service from a person in my life. He also gave me absolutely every bit of info I needed to know about my monitorsto the point where it was much more than any standard person would give you. I know these things almost in and out, now.

My orange terror bass amp was having some intermittent power issues. I had some similar issues with it when first purchased that were were sorted under warranty. Kosmic were awesome during this.
So put it in to Grant at EAV to fix. He diagnosed the problem however the distributor for Orange came back with the response "it is a discontinued/obsolete model parts are not available ". It is 3 yes old. So basically i have an amp that is not that far out of warranty that can not be fixed.
After a fair few phone calls to try and resolve this yesterday I went into Kosmic today. Alex L supported me with my original warranty issues and again today. The resolution was store credit to the full purchase price which allowed me to purchase a new amp. I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Kosmic and Alex in particular.
Support local music shops yes u can get it cheaper online but you won't get this after market service online.response / report this review -

Great staff who know their product. I have been a customer of the drum shop in every guise it has been through and will continue to be for many years. The only place to buy drums and accessories in town.

Loved the customer experience, the staff takes its time explaining things and trying to give you the best advice without being too invasive. From a guitarist point of view I've found sad that such a massive retail has so few guitar/amps. Don't get me wrong, the selection is decent but they could start selling more used gear for instance. The guitar repair service is top notch!

Great range, really good pricing and amazing knowledge base and customer service. The best place to shop for audio gear - research online but buy at Kozmic as nothing beats firsthand knowledge of the products.

I play guitar, bass, and drums and mostly get all my gear from kosmic. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
I ordered a bass online that wasn't in stock and it only took 1 week to get to me, pretty happy with that.
The drum shop range isn't what it used to be, but that's understandable.response / report this review -

I mostly dealt with Kerry from guitars and she was very friendly, efficient and helpful. All the staff seem helpful and they have a great range. They price matched to ensure i got the best price and offer free shipping, I couldn't be happier and they will be getting my return business. 10/10 I highly recommend.

I've shopped with Kosmic a bunch in the last few years and have always found the service to be awesome.
The staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable, they have great product knowledge and good opinions on what would suit my purposes. And if they don't know or have an opinion they happily ask another staff member, a really awesome mark of professionalism, to admit you don't know but follow it up.
Good range of products and always helpful regarding lay-buying or ordering products if they don't have it in stock. Also will often let you try a product in-store if you ask politely.
I highly recommend Kosmic for guitarists and drummers.response / report this review
