Great atmosphere and selection of beer. And really love that old style the pub that you Farley get to see these days. My only issue is that it's a not a cheap place to go, but that's I guess is like most places now days.
Have been waiting here 30 minutes waiting for my food, has not arrived yet and I am starving. Don’t even serve schooners just $9 crappy pints. Do not recommend.
Sells Guinness. Serves in PROPER pint glasses, too. None of that schooner nonsense.
Cracking good place for a beer. Great food and the staff were friendly.
Good beer but the food is way over priced for low quality. I mean reheated store bought frozen chips when beer battered was advertised is really sad.
This is a good venue. There are a few nooks and crannies in this bar, as well as the main floor, so it caters well to lots of different kinds of people.
It's also very accessable, and public transport is available practically right on its doorstep.
Here I've tried most disguisting beer in my entire life. Iron Jack on tap was totally tasteless, like soda mixed with beer flavouring. I would honestly not give it even to my dog. Being restaurant manager myself with hospitality experience around the world I was shocked the way they treated me. Obviously customer is on the very last place in this pub. Rude staff and manager with terrible attitude. I visited many Irish Pubs but this stands out Do not recommed to spend even penny in this place.
Nice food but a bit dear. Good selection of beer. Place has little atmosphere despite the curios. Big space. I imagine it gets packed on Friday and Saturday night. Enjoyed the pork belly very much.
Great Irish pub. Good food. Good range of drinks. Great charm and atmosphere. Been drinking here 11 years now.
great pub. good music atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.
Guiness on tap! ☺ great pub atmosphere, friendly staff. Prices could be cheaper, but prices are going up everywhere
It's still faux Irish but a good standard for this kind of nostalgic watering hole. The large size is cunningly hidden by levels and windowing. Great range of liquors but hamburgers are not traditional Irish.
Great Guinness. Excellent Irish setting. Good options for food. Lots of different areas to sit and eat and enjoy excellent food and drink. Stand out atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The classic Irish pub in the heart of Canberra. Expect sport to be playing loudly on the TV and raucous patrons to be causing a ruckus. Beer comes in pints, though, and there is the usual selection of wonderful, greasy pub food. If you are in the mood for an Irish pub (and sometimes that's just how it is), look no further.
