Comforting caravan park with friendly staff and simple but useful facilities
Thank you so much we enjoyed our time but unfortunately the weather wasn't the best but today sunday the 10th September looking lovely out there 😍 Antonio and Rita
Have had a caravan for more than a year and have seen a drastic change from the managers with the cost, as every few months there's a new or higher going cost from 5k a year now boosted to 6k people are fed up with it. Furthermore people are selling because of the rapid incline over short periods of time that wasn't established in the massive contact they make sign and fill out!!! a bonus is the lack of space so we bought another one for our JetSki that cost 1k or more which is fine turns out you're not allowed to park your car or a second car, residents are fed up and honestly place needs a new manager. They're very money hungry.
As parking is a major issue we were once force to park outside, we accidentally parked in an area designated for the site later in the day the manager let off our tire she's super irresponsible and not fit for her possition and should not be damaging people's property.
However the cleaners and daily gardeners are very nice and always there to help. 👌🏾
The Villa was awesome! Bloody great location!! Walking distance from everything you need! The Caltex servo right next door was very convenient too! The Villa we stayed it was one of the best we have ever experienced (at the price point - which wasn't 'cheap'), however our family 👨👨👧👦 of 4 didn't feel cramped one little bit (not like most cabins), so price felt justified. I really can't think of any 'big' negatives, apart from the stupid 'parrot' of a person complaining in a review about the BBQ being too close to the Villa and the BBQ smell coming into their cabin - seriously get a life, it's Australia - we BBQ and if you didn't like it go to the beach for 30mins it's only 50m away!
Super warm heated pool was great, the kids loved jumping in after a fresh swim in Port Phillip Bay.
The park is smallish however we were there in late March so was fairly quite I'd like to see what it's like during Xmas and school holidays.
We are very much looking forward to our next stay at Kangerong Holiday Park! Thank you!!
Had a fantastic time there on our annual Dads and Kids Weekend. 18 Dads and grade 1 kids camping across 8 sites. Fantastic experience with staff there who were lovely, helpful and very accommodating with change/updates.
Facilities are great. Pool is warm, games room great, shops and beach a 1 minute walk away.
A great place to stay. We will definitely be back.
Just came home from our most recent stay. This is the fourth year we have stayed in a villa. We love this place. It is directly opposite a lovely beach, a very short walk to the town which offers a lot of good eateries, and the holiday park has a very relaxing atmosphere. Management and staff are friendly and helpful. The villas are comfortable. The swimming pool is a bonus. Can't wait for summer 2017 to come around. We'll be back.
The most rudest hosts Iv ever dealt with from the first phone call made (you will know what I mean when you try and make a booking, unprofessional manner and tone). Room was discusting - running shower, running toilet, hair shavings on the floor from the last person who stayed, bench appliances were all dusty and looked as if they had not been cleaned in years. Room was way out dated for the price. Not a place to take a baby esp if crawling, grouse
Kangerong is the best holiday park still in 2015 I stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin cottage 17 it was like we had never left home it was so BIG but big4 are the best so that's why kangerong is the best park I have ever stayed at
