Good place for the price. Cabin we had was a little run down (Dirty walls and chewing gum under tables). Fan only worked on fastest setting, but the aircon worked fine. Internet access was available but virtually unusable. Photos of the resort on their site have obviously been touched up. Staff were really nice and helpful and public transport (Bus) stops were close by to get you to town. If you're on a budget and plan to be out enjoying the sights most of the time, check it out.
The best thing about this place was the lovely service and hot shower. Unfortunately the wifi was next to useless, towels smelled strange, and the fan was broken. It is budget accommodation but towels should be clean at least.
Great value and a wonderful place to stat. Staff is super friendly. In the cabins you have a full kitchen minus an oven. There are bugs that will bite you but that should be expected in this environment
Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable regarding things to see/do in the area. Relaxing atmosphere in the midst of trees and forest sounds :)
Rooms are Ok .. Nothing fancy.. A bit far from Main St.
Didn't realize you had to "rent" cookware until after receptipnclosed, which was dinner time. Big thing for me was advertisement of free WiFi, which didn't work. I badly needed connectivity to attend to some things.
This place was incredible, Shirley and Bruce was an amazing and friendly host, we lived the cyclone Debbie there and all the time they was concern and very kind with us, 100% recommend this place
Nice reasonably priced option in the area: make the most of the kitchenette!
the owners were absolutely fantastic, even offering to drive us to the airport ferry early in the morning. The location was perfect, such an amazing dip into nature and just steps from your room.
Room is small and can hear noise from next door, bad odors around the unit block, wi-fi signal is weak, unusable. Cheap rate and quiet. Suitable for overnight stay
