We needed to order an entire house load of architraves & skirtings for our recent renovation. The guys at Jimboomba Timbers were extremely helpful. They had great product knowledge & helpful ideas. The price was great so we happily placed the order. The service was excellent including prompt delivery. Highly recommended these guys for any local timber needs.

Mouldy timber.
*addit after business reply - your staff saw and acknowledged the mould, please don’t lie.*
We phoned prior to driving an hour to Jimboomba Timbers to ask how their framing pine was stored, as we were concerned about mould given the recent wet weather and were assured it was stored “inside.”
We arrived and immediately noticed that inside just meant under a roof in an open bay. We paid for what we needed but when it was brought out, every piece was visibly mouldy, some much worse than others.
We offered to take it home anyway to see if we could just plane off the mould but were told we would not be permitted to return if it was in fact mouldy all the way through.
The staff didn’t appear at all concerned that they were selling mouldy wood and tried to justify it by saying it’s due to getting wet so much before it arrives to their yard.
We were able to easily refund what we paid for and left empty handed.
The timber looked like good quality so it’s a real shame it was riddled with mould. Something to check for if purchasing your wood here.

The owner of this Company, Jason - takes on board any complaints or negativity related to staff attitude and service.

I had a poor experience with one of his employees yesterday so I emailed the Company and received a phone call from Jason wishing to sort out the issue.

Due to his demeanour and professionalism I will return to the store and deal with him in the future.

Good on this man for caring and building up a strong business over many years.

Horrible to say the least. Rude staff. Let it slide on my first order $3800. Was going to place another order for about a thousand, and after getting spoken to like dirt on the phone I ordered from Logan area. My only advice is your areas having a population explosion embrace it and hire staff, talk down to customers like their order is an inconvenience and expect lots of lost revenue. I've got plenty of projects coming up and happy to take my business where it's appreciated. Shop around or walk away when u get the attitude.
