Pricey and the food didn't seem very authentic. Will give it a miss next time

Waiting staff are dressed in traditional Japanese outfits, and there is a seating area that lets you sit normally while looking just like a Japanese dining room.

Food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and there is a lot of it in a banquet! A highlight was the sake menu, with varieties you will not have tried, and good advice from the waiters to help to choose the perfect accompaniment to your meal!

Really great food at reasonable prices. They were possibly understaffed that evening and while the food came out reasonably quickly, they did forget to deliver one of the dishes that were ordered. The staff were extremely friendly and professional.

Decor also possibly needs an update. The CRT television mounted on the wall and other embellishments definitely gave the whole restaurant a tired, old feel.

Everything else aside, we will still be returning for the amazing food.

The most authentic Japanese restaurant in Canberra. They're friendly and the food is amazing! It's actually quite nice to see they don't exclusivity hire Asian staff, as many of the waiters are Australian uni students.

The food was average and overpriced, with our soft shelled crab being undercooked and tasteless. The service was attentive but servers were distracted.

Great Japanese food. Definitely more expensive than most places but worthwhile. Come here a few times and they are very consistent. Service is decent, extensive alcohol list, great menu suitable for anyone. Will be back soon

The food tasted very normal. I would say it's only slightly better than usual Japanese restaurant. But for the price they charge I totally believe that they could do better. The ambience was decent. However, I think the service was terrible. The female staffs even though were kind enough to put on a smile in front of customers, but when they go around the restaurant, they just had an arrogant bitchy look. I don't like the fact that they were rushing us through while we haven't decided what to order, by continuously asking us whether we are ready to order. Also I find it very rude, in the sense that when I put in my last mouth of ice-cream, the staff asked us whether I'm ready to pay the bill even though the restaurant was only half full at that time. Overall, I don't like the service and the food was pretty normal for the expensive price they charge. I won't ever set foot in the restaurant again.
