This is our "go to" Indian restaurant even though it's 15 minutes from home and we pass a more local Indian restaurant but it's worth the extra time for the journey. The service is great. The food is excellent and it is amazing value.

We have really enjoyed the food in the past. Tonight we had our meal delivered and unfortunately I ended up with a horrible rusty nail about 4cm long in my mouth. I don't know which curry or rice dish it came out of. I phoned the restaurant and they told me it wasn't a nail but a spice they use and to taste it and bite it which I did and nearly broke my tooth as it is definitely a steel nail - not a spice. They sent the delivery driver out to have a look and once he realized it was a nail he phoned his boss who then offered to refund one dish - the dish it came out of?????
We said we wanted the whole meal refunded as there is no way of knowing which dish it came from so therefore we can't eat any of the meal. He insisted that he would only refund one dish. We are VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. These are pictures taken after biting and trying to break the spice!!!!!

Ordered the first time it took an hour and half for delivery even tho we only live 8 mins away and that was also ordering an hour early, second time ordered with the Menulog app and was told they are delivering to our area only for them to ring and say they can't do delivery to us unless we wanted it and hour and a half late will never order from you again nice food but sure isn't worth the stuff around

Excellent and authentic Indian food.

I am a Migration Agent and Swan Migration is the name of the company. Whenever we need to meet with our important clients for a dinner..we choose only 'India Cottage. We loved the restaurant so much.

Veg or non-veg each and every dish was always delicious. Of course, the service is a lot to be appreciated.

I recommend 'India Cottage 'strongly to all the food lovers.

They are usually pretty good. But delivery was more than an hour late and was not impressed with the nonchalant attitude of the woman who answered the phone both times- Unapologetic, no reasons given.. it might be professional to call and inform customers on big delays if they can't keep to the times stated on their confirmation messages.Delivery guy however was super polite ,apologetic and made the experience of the phone reception better. There was also a complimentary bottle of coke but the whole experience would have been improved by better phone customer service.
