The 5-star review is for the OUTSTANDING service given by Grace. I was almost going to write an average review based on an earlier encounter with a lady who didn't even bother to turn around and provide eye contact after I asked her a question. I was looking for the lighting section, thinking that I had passed it. The lady, who was pushing a heavy trolley of goods uttered 'keep following the path'. When she heard the disdain in my voice asking for how much longer, she smartened up, turned around and lost the attitude. I knew before even asking her that I would get attitude from her. I could see it in her body language - and I was almost tempted not to ask. But if I genuinely want to know something - why not ask? When she smarted up, I even said, 'thank you'. I had decided to cut her some slack as she looked like she was going through something. (Perhaps she had dealt with a rude customer or co-worker earlier - who knows?). Anyway, point is that when I got to lighting, Grace's assistance was second-to-none, and her cheerfulness was just infectious! These 5-stars are for Grace!

If you want a fun filled day of getting lost head here, its a maze without hedges, only difference you can buy things as you go..then that's if you can find where to pay or pick up (if big items) Nice coffee n scroll, just outside of registers, also has large sit in eating area

A great range of reasonably priced furniture and products for the home and office. Try going at times when it isn't too busy if you have agoraphobia or anxiety as it can be a bit overwhelming, and ask the staff for shortcuts through the store if you need to escape the consuming crowds. Take water a compass and a sense of adventure when you go. The chocolate and everlasting fountain of pear soda is worth the trip.

A labyrinth for sure, but a pleasant one at that. Lots of nicely set up showcases to get your creative juices flowing, although I suggest having a thorough look online before going in store as there is a lot to see and it can be a bit overwhelming. Going here is a day trip and will take hours, but it'll be worth it to spice up your place.

It has lots of flat pack furniture for sale. Quite stylish if assembled properly.
I quite like their cafe as well. Swedish meatballs are my favorite.

The biggest Ikea in Sydney for sure. Located in inner southern suburb of Tempe. Two levels of everything that you can imagine that you would need for your home from bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, study so on and on. You can spend hours here and still might feel that you haven't got all what you need. Weekends can be a little crazy with crowd. Nice cafeteria with great value. Hot dog is only $1.50 and with drink $2.50. after a hectic shopping experience inside having that hot dog is quite a nice feeling.

BUSINESS MEMBERS BEWARE: I am a new business member:Over $6,000 of decor and kids furniture ordered for our childcare, address labels are cheap quality and placed on outside and front of products. Labels are non-removable unless you scrub with warm soapy water which will take hours. When I called the stall the store manager was very un-interested and not helpful at all. He told me to soak $6,0000 worth of products. I asked him to replace them which he refused.

My local IKEA. Everyone is happy and ready to find something cool. The staff are helpful and friendly, they’re available but not overbearing. Basically your perfect love match in an ikea store. Also close to Good Guys and Salvos, you can get home stuff, New and old, all at the one location.

Great experience forever.
This time come to study, free wifi, nice food combo, place to play,stay and hanging around.
Spent some money and little eye adventure.
Also the nice place even u don't have anything on the shopping list.
Also got a free gift if you do a survey.

Amazing shopping experience and fantastic cafeteria. Even if you're not wanting to buy anything try it just to say you have. While you're there, try out the Swedish meatballs! Coffee in the café near the cafeteria is nothing special though.

Need more exits especially if u only want to see certain products. You have to walk the whole display/product area to exit. Cannot be in a hurry!!

This IKEA has everything, and is (seems to be) about a kilometre wide! It's huge and long (and exciting and fantastic) walking around the path to find new things that would do great at my house. It's all (almost) too cheap. The cinnamon scrolls are amazing too! The Swedish names don't put me off buying it, nor the fact that I think (know) that IKEA avoids paying tax in Australia.

Great experience, better than the Rhodes store as it is its own complex and not part of a shopping complex. Good to get there when it opens because it is empty and easy to see all the products. Make sure you get some of the tasty tasty meatballs!

OPEN MORE REGISTERS!! Why have 20 lined up from one end of the store to the other if you never use them? I have consistently had to wait between 15-35min to get served and more than 1hr on one occasion. Great experience in store and product only to be ruined by having to stand waiting like cattle. I'd rather pay a little more from another retailer than waste my valuable time.

I love an IKEA day out! Easy parking. Normal IKEA. If you haven't been GO! It's got everything for furniture, kitchens, kids toys to linen at fair prices. Most of the furniture comes as a flat pack, but you can pay a little extra to get someone to build it for you and deliver.

The overall experience was everything but positive.
Bought a few succulents. The tag clearly stated $4.99 each, yet when I went to pay I was asked $14.99 each. Explained the sales person the issue and she asked me to go back and take a picture because she was busy. Typical IKEA great place good parking. Well laid out. Always busy but go there late weekdays and it's quiet. Traffic can be a challenge in and out of it but that's Sydney.

Good location, good parking, great furniture and homewares, very reasonable prices, cheap food, play zone for kids at the cafe area. Kids love going there. However, do not go there for a quick shopping - it's a maze to be lost in.

One of our favourite places for weekend breakfast. Great play area of kids in the restaurant, and very affordable menu items. Wish they open a bit earlier than 8:30 though, as our boy is an early riser and wakes at 6:30, so if we wanted breakfast there it meant we had to wait for quite a while.
