5 stars for this dental practice! Staff is super friendly and helpful, really seem to care about their clients. Eugene behind the desk making appointments is very nice and dr Darren (dentist) is very capable and takes all the time to explain everything in detail. Very knowledgeable about my maybe not so standard dental case. Liked this dental care way better than back home in the Netherlands. - Sarah

I would recommend Dr. Prakash to anyone and everyone! Very considerate of the patient. The procedure was hassle and pain free. The service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable too.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist in Melbourne. I see Dr Prakesh and he makes any procedure (whether a routine clean or wisdom tooth extraction) easy and pain free. Eugene is always professional and friendly, he has a wealth of knowledge on the procedures and always answers my queries in a lot of detail. Go to Holistic Dental on Collins Street - you will not be disappointed.

Been there multiple times for fillings, and had a very good experience. Dr Darren Ma is excellent and explains everything in detail. Eugene, who manages appointments, is brilliant, and I never faced any issues with my bookings. Location is very convenient if you work in the CBD. Hygiene standards are also very high.

Reception and nurse are extremely friendly and professional. The dentist is very experience and very gentle. Prices are very reasonable. I visited this dentist after reading good reviews online. I do not live in Australia and was visiting for a couple of days only. My wisdom tooth was infected and caused me immense pain. I made the doctor well aware that I was not covered adequately on insurance. However, he insisted I go for an immediate tooth extraction, while my tooth was still infected. He did not prescribe me any painkillers or anti-biotics to cure the infection prior to removing the tooth. His advice was completely incorrect which I got to know after checking with my regular dentist back home, and an immediate extraction would have been terrible for my mouth.

Best dental experience I've ever had. I have had negative experiences with dentists and well developed avoidance skills. It was such a welcome surprise to meet this dentist, Dr. Prakash. He was extremely gentle and also explained things about my teeth and gums that no other dentist had done before. Very professional, trustworthy and reliable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

This was my second visit to the dentist so I was scared but what an absolutely amazing team, Eugene was amazingly helpful and very attentive, he was more than accommodating when I had to move my appointment.

I went in for a wisdom tooth removal and was really REALLY scared, Dr Prakash was very calm and very very gentle. He assured me I wouldn't feel anything and I really didn't! The nurse was also very very sweet and rubbed my shoulder till I felt better (that helped alot thank you :)) It was quick and easy and they really really looked after me and made me feel comfortable.

I have also seen Dr Neil before and he is just as good and kind. He drained the infected tooth about a week before Dr Prakash had removed it and again I felt no pain or discomfort and he and his time made me laugh and feel very very comfortable.

I cannot recommend these guys enough, they are an amazing team, looking forward to coming back for my check up!! :)

This dentist is good because it is very thorough. It likes to check where your teeth are at to make sure they get to the bottom of everything before it gets worse. I don't understand why there are a few reviews saying they're dodgy as I have not encountered that here.

I recently went in for my wisdom teeth to be extracted and this has been the best experience I've had at the dentist! From the first phone call, Eugene was very helpful and attentive. Dr Prakash Kamath and his dental assistants were very professional and welcoming, the procedure was painless and quick, most of all they made sure I was comfortable which helps take away any fear or stress one might be feeling when visiting the dentist.

I first came to Holistic Dental Melbourne CBD in 2009 after being turned away from another orthodontist in the CBD. It wasn't just my teeth needed straightening, but I had a very complicated bite and I was nervous I would be turned away again. Holistic Dental were honest with me from our first meeting. They admitted the process to fix my bite was complex and it would take two types of treatment and that was before even straightening my teeth! The good news was they were prepared to take me as a patient and that they could fix my bite without surgery. After expanding my top jaw, correcting my bite and straightening my teeth with braces my smile was then beautifully finished with veneers completing my treatment in 2012. I can't tell you how happy I am with the results. It is way better than I imagined. I feel confident with my smile and don't mind having my photo taken these days either. I am still a patient with Holistic Dental visiting twice a year for a polish and clean. The Holistic Dental team are very passionate about dental care and how they can help you get the smile you want. I have always found them to be informative, professional, educational, and always very gentle with their treatments. I highly recommend a visit for any of your dental needs.
