Fantastic experience. Grant, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly, the displays were informative and interesting and there was even a great little gift shop. Definitely worth a visit when in Ararat.

Don't totally understand the appeal. Dressing up was cool I guess. If you're there be sure to watch the video. Owners are lovely :)

It was nice to come back to this building 10 years or more on from the opening. Pity the restaurant never got built.

Very friendly staff and great displays. We held an event in the Great Hall, and everybody was very accommodating.

We spent a few hours here and it was a very enlightening experience, learning about the Chinese prospectors and how they lived.
It was an excellent time also seeing Don Reynolds vision of the museum born to reality, Don would have been extremely proud of the countless hours he spent on this project.response / report this review
