Always had good food here. I think it's converting to an AMPOL now as Puma Energy's stock in Australia was bought out by Chevron (owners of AMPOL)

Large modern roadhouse with a huge variety of food and snacks for the long haul. Unlike many on the northern route, it is open 24hrs.

Had a lunch break here on way up north with a great view of the ocean. Ordered a fresh cheese burger for $8.5. Best value feed all trip as the burger was filled with caramelised onions, decent thick meat patty and crisp fresh shredded lettuce and salad. Coffee was not bad either. Was also good for our toddler to run around on the grass out side and explore the small basic playground provided which wore her out and she wnded up sleeping to overlander rh after that.
