So good we came back again 2 nights later for dinner!
Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating with special requests we had for one of our meals.
Food was delicious and generous in size.
Fantastic selection of beers and wine from the region. Strongly recommend doing the beer tasting!

Very nice staff. Food is okay but not great. Portions are huge. Good for a quick dinner. They do have an awesome amount of beers which make up for the food

Quite disappointed with the food. We had a burger and seafood penne. Pasta was overcooked and burger was flavourless. Most tables were dirty so we had to ask the waiter to clean up before we could sit anywhere. Good local beers though!

Nice food, very reasonably priced. Disappointing there were people smoking within a meter of the outdoor dining even though signs indicated this wasn't allowed. We were seated next to the external door so we had cigarette smoke every time someone went outside. Staff were very much aware of the smokers, disappointing in this day and age

Soon as you walk in there's a great atmosphere. Plenty of different beers on tap to try. Looks like a great place on trivia night. (Thurs) sures beats the Apollo bay hands down. Will be back.

Great pub. Good feed. Wasn't enough time to try all the beers. Will definitely be back.

The beer is good. Food serving is very filling, at least for the pastas. The salmon scallop penne was delicious. The gnnochi (special) was good too, though really much too filling. Service staff were warm and lively. Generous space.

One of my favorite stops on the entire continent. And that's not hyperbole.
All of the best beers I had on the trip were in this location (and I think all were from Prickly Moses.) The shirt I bought from the store behind there is one of my favorite take-homes from the journey.

Good beers and worth stopping in. The plan looks like adding on a proper brewery at some point. I imagine it will be better then.

Group of 6 for lunch. Poor experience. Kangaroo burger bland & burger buns absent of any toasting. Fish & chips tiny single fillet. Service non existent. Order items served some 15minutes apart in group. Overall over priced and underwhelming on the food front. Rating saved by the generous beer selection.

After spending $100 here throughout the day at the bar, (there is a good beer selection) we came back after dinner, and got kicked out for not paying a $20 cover charge for the 'bushfires'. This is not how you attract repeat business. The top clubs in Melbourne with live music might have a door charge, but in a small town like Apollo Bay, it's not a fair go.
    Shame on you guys.

5 stars all the way. From the location, ambience, beauty of the pub to the food it is outstanding. Make sure you visit the bottle'o out the back where you can get a tasting paddle of the local brew. They also do a cheese platter. I'm considering moving here so I can make this joint my local.

Great little brewery in Apollo Bay. My partner and I both had the fish (Flake), which came with chips and salad. Generous portions for a decent price. The fish was delicious and crispy plus didn't have a very fishy taste (which is how we both like it). The only downside was that the chips came Luke warm like they had been sitting ready for a bit. We also had the sticky date pudding and omg it was so good. One of the best we've ever had. Came out nice and hot and served with cream AND ice cream. The dessert and fish is why I give it 5 stars.
