  4-stars - if u get a camp site by the river side. Awesome location, nearby to the town centre yet will still get close to the nature. The beach is close and the facilities at the camp ground are good. No camp fire 🔥 big minus. And if u get a spot around the football oval- don’t bother to camp there.

  Bathroom has no door and let's flies and whatnot in. Due to no door it is very cold in winter when having a shower or going to the toilet. Toilets didn't look clean at all.
  As campers, we rely on the camp kitchens which their website said they have. Kitchen didn't have a stove or oven, just a dirty looking microwave, fridge and kettle. There was dead flies plastered all over the walls, on the branch and around the kettle. I would rather not shower or eat than use the facilities here.
  Could be a good basic holiday if you don't need to use the camp facilities and have a caravan. It's also further from the Main Street than other caravan parks in the area and the whole place just looks quite run down. Really this place just needs someone to clean the place as that doesn't seem to be happening.

  Arrived just on dusk on a Friday night.
  Wasn't sure how it would be after the Google reviews I had read.
  Dave the caretaker was very helpful
  Just like one of the boys back home in the bush, he gave us some great local info and fishing tips. he was very inviting to me and my family.
  Looks like an enjoyable weekend on the river Just over the road from the beach in Apollo Bay.
  Just like it used to be when I was a kid!
