Two of us did this tour with Jimmy a couple of days ago (Feb 2023) and it was excellent! Comfortable and scenic journey, terrific fun, fantastic food. Jimmy works really hard to ensure everyone has a great time. Three boutique vineyards gave us excellent tasting experiences and Jimmy’s food exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend.

Perfect way to spend a day! Jimmy was awesome. He was friendly, had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The wineries and food pairings (cooked by Jimmy himself) were top notch. A must for visitors or for anyone wanting a great day in the Hunter Valley.

Gourmet Getaway is an exceptional idea and experience! Chef Jimmy provides everything you need for this wonderful excursion to the Hunter Valley wine region in Australia. Chef, driver, tour guide, rolled into one. Exceptional food, sites, and pairings. It was a perfect day!

What a wonderful and awesome trip it was visiting the vineyard that Jimmy took us. We had lots of fun and laughter along the way. Jimmy was a super man, he is our guide, bus captain and the executive chef. Food and wine pairing were fantastic. Please let Jimmy bring you to your wine tasting adventure and I can guarantee you will have a memorable time.

A brilliant day! We loved making our own sushi with the fresh ingredients from the fish market. All day, Jimmy provided outstanding dishes to complement the very enjoyable wines we tasted at three boutique wineries. Jimmy was super-organised and had thought of every detail. Although we went out on one of the wettest days on record, this really didn't affect our enjoyment. Thank you so much Jimmy.
