Very good Chinese seafood restaurant. It is pricy but delicious. Let’s have fun here. We did.

I have been going for decades! You don't go there to order regular dishes, they're not that great. You have to order the big ones like crab and lobster with noodles, whole fish, pippies, prawns, large abalone that is thinly sliced, or individual abalones, and oysters. I love the atmosphere and am used to the service of Chinese restaurants and you have to be comfortable with it being busy and noisy. I especially love coming after midnight after a big night out. My favourite Chinese restaurant.

It's great to be able to have a great dinner late after work. The food is very good, the pippies and squid are amazing, the Braised Mud Crab with Diced Pork and Vermicelli in Hot Pot so tasty. Great food, great service.

Bit of an institution which has an extensive menu of seafood and non-seafood dishes.
Beer and Wine list is very extensive and covers everything from Grange to the French Reds to the standard Australian wines.

Service is always good and whenever you order shellfish they'll bring it out for you first before they cook it.

They're open till late so well worth it on the way home from the City.,

The calamari was very nice. Pipis lovely. Fried rice was seriously under seasoned. It is not cheap but they open late every night !

The regular font but unfortunately not any more. Portions got smaller and I'm pretty sure you guys changed chef's. Food tastes different. Also I asked for honey chicken and came out honey prawn. But still good.

Best salt and pepper squid period! Quite expensive but the convenience, speed and quality justify the price. Great place for fresh live crab, live fish, live shellfish.

Perfect place to eat if you are a lover of seafood as all the seafood is held in live tanks and there is a huge array of food to eat from the more traditional Chinese to the western way.
The service is so fast as we had only ordered and by the time the water was put on the table the first entrees were served we were hungry as we had been watching the footy final and were very late to be going to a restaurant for dinner and this one was recommended as it is open until 4am serving Beautiful food.

Golden Century is one of the largest Chinese Restaurants in Sydney CBD. Opening times until 4:00am make it a hidden midnight snack gem along a wide variety of Chinese popular meals.

The selection of seafood is second to none, speedy serving, great staff will guarantee an unforgettable culinary experience.

Always a great place to share food with friends & family.

Good food but very poor service.
Yesterday my friends and I went to the restaurant and ordered prawn hot pot. The waitress took the wrong order and gave us crab hotpot. After we returned the dish, she insisted we ordered crab hot hotpot, and she told manager that we lied. WHY SHOULD WE LIE ABOUT IT!!??
Eventually they took the wrong dish back with a very horrible attitude.
I love the food there but the service does not worth for the money.

Really clean restaurant. Impeccable food, amazing selection of broths (we tried 3, liked them all a lot!), great vegetarian options, parking lot, really amazing selection of meats like you've NEVER seen (alpaca? Rooster testicle!!!). We went with more traditional meats - delicious. The people that work there are SOooo nice and helpful (they taught us how to do hotpot - never making us feel like we had a stupid question). We will be going back again and again

Decent but expensive food. Service was appalling though.

Allocated us the worst seats possible; next to the escalator, toilet and the queue station. We had people standing around us talking loudly throughout the whole dinner. Requested to move seats but was refused, citing no available seats. People who came after us was allocated seats within minutes, much better seating position too and no booking was required. Now I usually wouldn't complain because I am used to Chinese restaurant service standard. However, I booked a week in advance and this is a new low for me.

Waiter even rolled his eyes when we corrected his mistake of bringing us tea instead of cold water. Plenty of other Chinese restaurants nearby so I wouldn't come back here again and wouldn't recommend it.

Can't beat the food. But also can't beat the expensive price. It's worth every cent "only if" the customer service was there. I would suggest train up some young fresh English/European staff. They would appreciate the job, (smile) and the business will double. Keep the amazing chefs of course. Instead of being there once a week I'll be there every night.

Tonight we went to eat here from a friend's recommendation. The seafood is impressive but with a price tag (fresh and quality). Food was delicious. The downfalls of the night would have to be the younger waiters' lack of service and hospitality (it's not great when you don't speak Chinese). Food took a while to come out but it tasted good so I'll forgive that. Real kudos for Allan who is such a nice waiter, which made me bend a little in the hospitality and service aspect. Only come here for expensive and yummy food (probably special occasions?).
