The staff were friendly and meals were nice however the accommodation is very run down and very pricey. The rooms need a good thorough clean and are very basic (bed, fridge and bathroom only - no TV, no tea/coffee facilities). On arrival the premises looks very rundown , there are broken/old bit of equipment scattered around the place (including near guest areas such as the parking areas), the gardens are unkept and the pool was closed. The place has promise as it is in such a gorgeous location however if we hadn't pre-paid we would have continued on to Alice Springs.

What a wonderful place to stop for lunch. Great service, good food and the scenery was breathtaking. I felt very privileged to have visited this Lodge in our amazing Territory.

We stopped here for a meal and air-con as it was very hot. Our meals were cheap and very tasty. Presented well and arrived quickly. Staff were friendly and facilities were clean and adequate. Finished our stay will an ice cream which was also excellent. Would recommend stopping here for lunch. We took the walk to the gorge and it was worth it. We would stop here again.

Great spot!!! We almost gave it a miss as it looked a bit run down but turned out to be one of the better spots we’ve stayed on our trip. Staff where great the bar and food where the best we had on our trip and once you take the time to have a look it’s a nice spot, amenities where the cleanest we found. The gorge and river spot is awesome and a great spot for swimming and hanging out for the day. Several attractions nearby.
