A wonderful oasis to base yourself for a stay in Alice Springs. Even though you are outside of the CBD, hotel is still easily serviced for bus tour pick-ups etc. All the facilities and amenities you could need in a very tranquil setting.

You are in a Hilton for 24 hours and you discover a letter in your room after check in that the next day in the morning , starting 9AM the water will be shut down . So you can forget your shower after your nice walk in the morning , before going to the airport. When you ask what we can do , they tell you that you can fill the bath and all the family can use it !! And they say they simply forgot to advise you by mail before you arrive or verbally at check in . Alice Springs’ Hotels are far from full at that time of year and if they would have advised before, you could switch to another hotel 50 m away !! This is Hilton conception of welcoming clients.

Fairly good location, but a bit far to walk into town. Room was good, once you can find it, could do with a bit of signage. we had a problem but was taken care of promptly by the maintenance staff. We were there for three nights and took the option not to have the room serviced. This was fine but there was no where to clear rubbish nor was there milk or coffee etc resupplied (a request for this was ignored). Breakfast as an addition was expensive. Restaurant staff at both restaurants and the bar were either overworked or understaffed but were basically rude. The other option was to walk down to the casino, which is what we did, but the casino is…
Very little customer service. Front desk were more interested in training than dealing with the ‘invisible’ guests waiting at the counter. Not to the usual Hilton standard. So… room was good and good value. Service was atrocious. Food average and staff, moreover restaurant and bar managers were just rude.response / report this review -

Lovely hotel better than the Double Tree in Hawaii. Andrew the peacock was a lovely member of their team . Said heated pool if so heater needs repaired. All staff excellent, helping at all time. Great breakfast. The Hauman restaurant is so good.

Beautiful hotel, comfy beds. A little too hot inside for me. My first room was near the air conditioner and I could not sleep all night. Pool heated swim all year round. Free washing machine, washing detergent provided. All you can eat breakfast with chef cooked omelettes.
