  I was unhappy with a Sunbury GP about 4 years ago, so I asked the staff at Gisborne Medical Centre if they could help, Best thing I ever did, I've been seeing Dr Stephan Newton and other Doctors at times and I've found them too be so compassionate, caring and very professional. I highly recommend this medical centre!
  I must add too, that the ladies on the front desk are so lovely and are always happy to help! My experience has been fantastic.

  My husband has chrone's disease and became very unwell after catching a virus from our kids. He needed to see a GP pretty urgently last Saturday and couldn't get an appointment anywhere in Sunbury. We resorted to trying GP's in Gisborne. The Gisborne Medical Centre answered and said they could squeeze him in, and we headed straight over. Being in such a rush and stressed my husband forgot his medicare card etc, but that was no problems, they looked up his details for him. Dr Hema Thimmappa assessed and advised quickly the action we needed to take, and at no point did we feel like a hassle as you sometimes can when visiting a clinic that hasn't seen you before. They also bulk billed us as they understood we had enough to deal with at the time, let alone being out of pocket. Our family can't say enough to thank the team at Gisborne Medical Centre for their assistance & understanding last week!!

  After over 30 years as a client at this practice I have elected to attend another clinic. I see declining standards of care and an atmosphere of disinterest in most of the staff working here. I feel sad, but after expressing my views to the practice manager and having statistics quoted about how fabulous they are, I have no choice. Have spoken to quite a few other long term clients who feel the same way.
