Excellent Service by GDE team for a large backyard tree removal & stump grinding. Extremely professional, responsive and ontime. Would highly recommend! Thanks GDE team for great service.
I was referred to your Company by my cousin who sang your praises after work done at her place at Clayfield on several occasions. I, too, am very happy with the work done at my place today. Not only were your team, led by Ben, very courteous & helpful, but they did a fantastic job on my overgrown yard & left my place clean & tidy on leaving. I will definitely be using your Company again & will not hesitate to recommend your services. Thanks again from a very happy customer.
Very happy with GDE Tree Services. They were professional, used up-to-date equipment, were careful to avoid electricity wires, were considerate where they threw lopped tree branches, cleaned up after their work, polite staff. Would recommend them for any tree services.
I always obtain a number of quotes, and I found GDE's quote to fairly represent the work to be done (unlike some who seem to make an assessment based on what they think they can milk from you).
GDE are well equipped, even for the largest jobs. This means the job is done quickly and professionally.
Dealing with GDE people, from the office to the guys doing the work, was likewise professional and friendly, with any clarifications quickly sorted out.
The site was also left as clean as could be expected.
So yes, dealing with GDE was reasonably priced, fuss-free, and they did very good work. I highly recommend them.
GDE Tree Services were tasked with thinning or 'crowning' the trees on my neighbors apartment complex.
They cut back most of the trees but did not attend to a tree (photos attached) that overhangs my property. It drops dye like seeds and leaves each year.
I asked the elder worker on two occasions his plan for the tree, offering to assist on the second occasion. He was quite rude, clearly trying to ignore me.
Finally at the end of the job, he climbed and did a light prune on the neighbours side of the tree. I then asked another younger worker if they were going to deal with the tree.
His response was that the tree was not in the scope of the job. That mystified me as they had cut back another tree that was overhanging another neighbour's property. Photo attached.
In conclusion, although I wasn't their customer, I was a stakeholder and I felt they were not interested in handling my issue. They were very unprofessional and appeared to have no desire to touch the tree as it was a difficult job. It grows between the boundary fence and a pool underneath it.
I was considering a tree lopper to fix the tree but will not be using their services.
In Response to GDE's Feedback - 21 Jun 2021:
Thanks for your response, clarifying the job scope and advice.
Please note I sent letters to the body corporate regarding the tree in 2017 and as recently again on the day of your service including citing Part 4 of the Neighbourhood Disputes (Dividing Fences and Trees) Act 2011. Since I have not received a response on either occasion, I will act and remediate in accordance with the legislation. I already have a quote to cut back the tree.
My experience, is an unambiguous answer or effort to explain as you described and a pleasant 'bedside manner' goes a long way to ensuring there are no misunderstandings when dealing with potential future customers.
