I am so annoyed that you haven't got ONE PAGE with your daily programs for ALL the Cairns cinemas, from Earlville to Smithfield.

A strange smell fills the nostrils of all humans who dare enter, smells of sweaty armpits and damp clothes..very interesting, the aircon must be run by sweaty chimps ❤

Great place to take your family, to watch a spectacular and entertaining movie. My opinion is to definitely come here and have a try.

There were kids in the theatre who had not paid but were hiding up the back, talking, and giggling loudly which was most annoying!

I would give this place (Cinema one) zero stars if I could. Viewed film 9/7/17 - it was the dirtiest and smelliest cinema we had ever been in. Absolutely disgusting. Distinct smell of Urine, Shabby seats and upholstery. Stay away until the proprietor shows some respect for the patrons.

The cinema need updating with bigger and better screens with more seating to keep up with more modern complexes, although there is no competition in the region for Event cinemas. Staff are friendly and the area is kept relatively clean for how busy it is. Great to see they do a military discount.

First, it's in the mall food court right by the door to the parking lot, on the upper level of the mall. It seems to have all of the new releases. It's very expensive, $18 per movie as the basic adult rate, but strangely (maybe it's normal in Australia?) adult tickets are $11 all day ok Tuesdays. The staff is friendly. The seats are all tiered, so everyone is likely to be able to see the screen. The screen wasn't huge, but it wasn't absurdly small. At least theater two smells a bit musty, but it's probably just old popcorn smell. I wish people weren't so gross and didn't put their used gum in the cup holder, but that's not the theater's fault for not knowing which patrons were going to be gross. The ads and previews started at the listed movie start time, and there were about ten minutes of each. There's obviously plenty of parking in the mall parking lot. They have the basic food selection plus ice cream and some other extras, and a big candy section.

In short, it's convenient due to the location, it's not too bad in terms of cleanliness, and the prices are about average, with discounts on Tuesday that bring the prices down to inexpensive.

Nunya nunya, get a grip. You are going to tell your friends in the UK not to visit Cairns based on parking in the city (which is free in most places) and the price of the cinema here (which is comparable to that of cinemas in the UK). Cairns is a great city. Clean with free barbecues, attractive parks and gardens, free activities for kids put on by the council and the lagoon which again is free. Don't be so tight fisted. It's people like you refusing to spend your money in Cairns who are the reason why places close down.
