Beautiful Beach side park. Ripe mangoes everywhere. Swimming in warm tropical ocean. Lovely sea breezes. Amazing curlews running around. Friendly helpful staff. Cheerful welcoming manager. Just a great place to stay and relax.
We have stayed her twice now. Basic cabins but all the necessary features. Amazing beachfront location.
Able to have a caravan site right on the beachvery special. Great spot to stay. Cabins also on the beach looked good.
Picturesque location, we stayed here for 3nights I now wish I could stay longer. The location is in between Cairns and Port Douglas a easy commute to either places, Palm Cove is only a short distance away, which makes Oceanfront Bungalows a cheaper option. The staff are nice and helpful especially when I needed medical attention. The only negative would be if they could fix up better beach access, and it would look so nice if they could put up string lighting where the beach access is.

Beautiful, peaceful spot right on the beach.. awesome place to stay. Bungalows basic but perfect for families and people that just like simple, clean accommodation in a top location
Great place. Everything you need and you can't stay much closer to the water. Great beach on your door step kids had a ball. We met up with my parents and they were able to park their caravan right behind our bungalow. Wish we could have stayed longer
Unpowered site for two people sets you back $34.00. This lands you a campsite with uninterrupted views of the pristine Pacific Ocean. Campsites include: a nice bathroom with hot showers, kitchen facilities with a gas cooker, refrigeration, a sink and power outlets. This place is a jewel on the Queensland north coast.
The bungalows are clean, quiet and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. The hot water in the cabins seemed to have been timed. Bursts out hot enough to scold but the hot runs out in 5 minutes in the cabins. In the amenities block the water was much more consistent. Excellent views, right on the beach. Great to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Very reasonable prices, too.
Stayed one night and was a good stay. Near Port Douglas and campsite by the beach. A nice pool also if there's a stinger alert on the beach or if you prefer pool! Toilets really clean. Only thing: wifi isn't free and expensive.
In April 2016:
unfriendly stuff,
broken door locks and no willingness to repair them,
busy street in the neighborhood.
Very nice place! The sites are just 5 meters away from the beach. Very nice people, mostly from OZ and middle aged. We didn't hear the noise of the street. The next grill is only 500m away and very good. One of the best camping grounds we we stayed at.
Thought the location was beautiful and it was nice to hear the waves crashing as you lay in your tent, however the experience was ruined from the TERRIBLE customer service. The manager Paul, made us feel like we were horrible people trying to cheat the system because of miscommunication. Even after multiple apologise, we were still made to feel like the bad guys. The situation was so uncomfortable, we ended up leaving at 11pm on our second night. Would NEVER recommend. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Oh my, ignore comments about traffic at night keeping you awake. I am a very light sleeper and have not used my ear plugs once. You will listen to the gentle waves at night time.
Gorgeous beach location close to supermarket, fuel, bottle shop and take away outlets. Even closer is Palm Cove and all the restaurants. Cairns is 20 minutes away.
Love how the groundsmen guide you into reversing into your site which is tight but surrounded by tropical plants.
They lost a star because they do not adhere to the times for cleaning the toilets. I also do not like how the showers flood so you have to dry off in a big puddle of water. A squeegy would be helpful.
Good lighting. Very clean toilets. High slabs ideal for heavy FNQ rain. Stinger nets near the surf club.
Will we be back? You bet!
