  I was referred to Dr EK by my own dentist for a difficult tooth extraction
  
  Dr Ek was excellent very professional and reasonable in cost . I cannot speak too highly of him
  His staff were very friendly & efficient
  To me a hidden gem of Glen Waverly

  took my child for a brace. It looks good now. I just can't help recall, one of the instruments dropped on the floor . He picked it up , put it back on the tray where the supposedly sterilised instruments were. What can I say :(

  I checked on google free orthodontic consultation that come up EK dental surgery. then i rang them to make appointment, they give me the time for just next day. I went there , filled form up then the dentist (owner) call me in, only 5 min , just looked and pulled my lips nearly torn. after had a quick chat i went outside, the women in the reception call me back to PAY for appointment $62, then i said but it for free i show them in my phone the google search but they said they do not care about that, their policy that is not free (DO YOU BELIEVE??) i said why that is not free but on google shown like that. i said to her talk to the owner (that old dentist men) he told her if i do not pay now then send the statement to my house, they want money only. that was nightmare, in Australia also have these people, they should go back to CHINA. Every body can search on google " free orthodontic in glen waverley " you will see i say true or not.
  NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE I WARNING YOU

  Dr. Mary Li is very professional, caring and friendly. I am happy with all the dental care she has given me and my kids throughout the years. I highly recommend Dr. Mary Li at EK Dental.
  The receptionist is helpful and courteous.

  They are fine with general cleaning, checkup and general treatment. All staff are nice and helpful. However I wouldn’t recommend orthodontic treatment with them. In my own experience I wasn’t happy about my results. I understood it would take time to move teeth around as an adult, but I never expected that I had to have 4 teeth filled and reshaped by filling material after pulling out 1 tooth. Filling material didn’t last long, feeling material on 2 teeth fell off only after around 6 months, had to pay to get it fixed over 2 appointments. After I changed my dentist, in my checkup I’ve been told my teeth are covered by glue that’s not cleaned properly. I’ve spent fare money with them but I don’t feel I’ve received happy results.
