bad recommendation for yabbies - lots of hard work with little reward. suggest to remove it from menu. it appears short of Staff who can't care how clients feel. trent
The evening before we got takeaway and the food was good, but when we returned for breakfast next day and asked for a table closer to the water (there were plenty of empty tables) we were told that we can't get any of these tables. We've asked why and were informed that this section is closed. Normally I would agree as there are plenty of other places that open in sections due to many reasons, but there was one table in the "closed" section that was occupied by about 8 people that were having breakfast. When I pointed out this table, I was told "don't worry about them". I didn't worry about it and we moved on. I am not advertising other places and will provide appropriate reviews, but other places was cheaper, better water views and definitely better service.
Beautiful location for a meal overlooking the estuary. We enjoyed Sunday breakfast of fresh fruit and bacon and eggs. The Breakfast Tower, was a balanced combination. We chose to repeat the same the following morning. However we waited 50 minutes for our meal to arrive, despite it being less busy than the previously morning. The wait staff were apologetic and provided complimentary coffee.
staff are nice and friendly. but the food quality is just so so. all the steaks were over cooked. we ordered medium, it taste like well done. it's hard and dry. I'm disappointed about the pasta. i ordered scallop and prawn pasta, the scallop are raw and tasteless.
My husband and I shared The Tastes of the Sea and it was fantastic, strongly recommend this. I love this restaurant and we are coming back tomorrow to try the stone grill were you cook the meal on the table. Staff are great and very efficient. Love it.
The perfect dining experience on the waterfront . Staff were very helpful and friendly in a professional but casual kind of way. But most importantly the food was beautiful and could not fault the Wild caught Barramundi , cooked perfectly could not fault the chef. Tina this restaurant is a credit to your hard work. Strongly recommend this restaurant to every one. The wine list has something for everyone. Definitely going back again. Jenny and Barry.
Very well appointed restaurant, very well priced menu.Food presentation and taste was excellent just like in a real fine dinning. Our table was looked after by Sepi ( Hope the spelling is right) he is an excellent Maitre 'd .We were there for an hour plus and were very served. All the best to the team at Dundee's.
The kangeroo meat was very good and tender. Very nice service and good location on the water. I had the ravioli which was good but I have a pet peeve about when my food doesn't come SUPER hot.. it was also quite pricey.
Had the oz beef rock. Absolutely spectacular piece of meat. The missus thought her surf and turf was amazing. Very happy.
Dundees is one of my favourite restaurants. Staff are extremely friendly the food is OMG amazing everything I have eaten has been amazing.
Prices are so reasonable the food is an ample serving. Great value for money.
Scenery is gorgeous. Honestly I cannot rank this restaurant highly enough if there were 10 stars I would give it 10. Thank you so much for everything. Every visit is an amazing experience thanks Karen Ward
Nice view, without the huge esplanade crowds. But they charge a premium for the view. The food was mediocre. I had the steak burger, which thought would be ground steak, but was an actual piece of steak on a burger; frankly the whole thing tasted sort of like dog food smells, and the meat was tough and also fatty. I didn't finish my food. But other people liked their food well enough--nothing to write home about, but tolerable. The service was fine. The drink menu wasn't extensive, but it was adequate.
Between 2 and 5 or so they offer a very limited menu, basically just appetizers and drinks.
