Hillary's is an excellent family destination. It has a wide selection of food options (ranging from burgers to decent sit down restaurants) lots of coffee and dessert places. There is a very nice sheltered beach which we take the little kids to and it also caters for older kids with a floating slide. There is a nice playground for smaller kids and large grasses areas for picnics. Parking can be impossible in peak times (weekends and public holidays). Highly recommended.

Hillarys Boat Harbour is a beautiful group of food, drink and shopping outlets situated on a well kept group of connected board walks. Right next to AQUA it is a great place to catch a feed and a beer while the kids swim and play on the water equipment. Its also a great place to watch the sun set. Parking can get busy so it pays to be early.

This place will keep your kids occupied for hours. There are toilets and showers, several cafes, shops and restaurants to choose from and play equipment (jungle gym) on the sand under shade cloths. There are a few shade cloth covered areas on the beach. There's a grassy area just up from the beach of you prefer that. Great place to take out of town guests.

I go here quite often with my children. I enjoy the variety of food outlets as they have a wide variety of tastes and budgets. It's gorgeous scenery all year round. A great place to visit with friends family or even a romantic interest.

Something for everyone. As long as you're not after high end fashion, you'll find most things here - clothes, beach toys, plenty of food options, cheap eats, nicer restaurants. There is a well protected swimming area and playground. On site is the Aquarium.

Great range of shops especially women's clothing. Beautiful clothing available. Large number of eateries. Beautiful views over the marina. Great for enjoying sunsets. Safe swimming in marina area with Sandy beach for families plus a fun water park. Also a netted beach adjacent. Great family day out or adult evening dining.

If you want your kids to have a risk-free dip in the ocean this is the place to do it. Some good eats - great ice-cream at Bellisimo Gelato (but you do pay for it). Unfortunately the "Great Escape" appears to be closed at the time of writing this review (April 2017)

So many food options, places to eat or just to stop for a quick bite. Definitely a great place to bring the whole family or groups of friends.

Good place to walk around and grab a bite to eat. Laze away a couple of hours and have a beer or 2. There is a little beach for the kids and some sort of small amusement park. Some fast food joints and some restaurants. It has approx 3 pub's. It also has shoe shops, clothes shops and shops where you can buy cheap tourist goods from. Great ice cream parlour.

Beautiful layout with wooden decks and play areas for the kids. There is a small theme park with a few rides as well. It is a family orientated venue with lots to do. Many restaurants to just about every liking.
