One of the most authentic Dosa experiences in Sydney. The dosas here are arguably better then the ones I have eaten in India. I specifically come here for the dosas.
Not the best anymore. We are regulars since 2018 and this was one of our preferred dine outs. In the last 2 years, there had been a drastic change in quality and service. May be change in staff and chef affected the spice of great experience we used to have.
Disappointing experience in previous 2 visits. May be time to say Good bye to this restaurant!
The South Indian food here is absolutely excellent! Best dosa I've had in the city, everything is delicious.
Giving three stars because of the service. The staff are all very nice and they try their best but the restaurant usually only has two servers for the whole place so the service becomes very slow and very very disorganised. Considering the price, you would expect decent service at least.
We had two people on our table receive their food much after everyone else had finished eating, have to ask for missing water, plates, cutlery at least 3-4 times, wrong orders, forgotten orders, etc etc. There was less salt in one dish, we asked for salt twice and eventually just went up to the kitchen and got it ourselves. We really like the food but don't come as much as we'd like because of the service. Maybe it's better if you don't go on a weekend.
Ok food. Pot biryani with half cooked bread. I was told after 15 min that the idly is finished. 10-15 min gap between 3 orders. Come as a group here and eat as a stranger.
Went there for the first time on a friend's recommendation. The food was pretty good. The only gripe was that we were charged $10 for the extra saambhar, which was uncalled for. Sure we ordered extra but that's because the quantity supplied with the dosas was just one tiny bowl. I've never had any restaurant charge me for extra saambhar my entire life. No Indian restaurant does it. And this is when we told the owner (who came to our table) that it was our first time there. And he never told us this when we were paying the bill - we got to know about this only when I enquired.
