The deign process at DIY with Nicole was fabulous, she provided some great recommendations and options to us that we had not thought of, despite being very confident with our design. Doing a few revisions was absolutely no trouble for her. I love that the factory is local and the quality is great and the price is better than bunnings for much better quality.

However unfortunately we were stuffed around with our delivery a number of times by Sandy the dispatch person. And from there we have had missing parts, panels painted the wrong colour, pre-drilled holes in wrong places, and a few other things. Sandy then became impossible to contact and have had trouble calling the showroom as it just asks to leave a message.

Am now trying to work through each issue with Michelle on a mobile number so we can get our stone benchtops installed, but it is causing us weeks and weeks of delays without a kitchen for our family in our home just before Christmas. It was like nothing was checked before leaving the factory.

This seems contrary to the other google reviews, so perhaps they are just going through a really busy period and certain checks are not being done before dispatch, either way they need to work on their communication.

I would use them again (as quality is amazing), but just wouldnt use them for a kitchen in a house i am living in. Would use for laundry, other cabinetry for sure.

From our initial visit to the showroom, Damian gave us some great ideas that we would never have thought of on our own. We took advantage of the design service and Kate paid our home a visit and again gave us plenty of excellent advice. We ordered the carcasses and they arrived when promised and were of excellent quality. Taking advantage of the assembly service saves a lot of time and hassle - a free offer when I purchased my kitchen.

I am relatively handy, and did most of the work myself apart from the electricals, plumbing and stone benchtops. The factory staff were always available to answer any queries I had - and there were quite a few! The only small issues I had were some fittings being unavailable for a few weeks, due to COVID creating shortages in the industry and a couple of incorrect parts sent out - but all issues were fixed to my satisfaction.

In a nutshell, we were able to get a kitchen with a high end finish, custom fit cabinets and quality hardware for less outlay than the equivalent standard dimension kitchen would have cost from the sausage sizzle people. DIY are a very honest company to deal with.

We have just designed and ordered a complete new kitchen with DIY Australia. We are yet to install, however to date the service and design process has been excellent/impeccable. I highly commend Nicole who has worked diligently on my design from day one, offering interior design expertise well above my expectations, and attending to every detail with absolute professionalism and efficiency. Nicole has gone above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I am hoping the kitchen quality is as good as the design experience, which based on assurances from DIY and other reviews, I am confident it will be. I will edit/add to this review on completion of installation.

We are very happy with the kitchen DIY just completed for us. It looks beautiful, good workmanship and installation at an affordable price. Good people to deal with, from the design, management of our project and the tradesmen who installed the kitchen. We felt well looked after. We would like to tell you about our kitchen remodel. We got quotes from 2 kitchen places to remodel our kitchen! One came back with a quote we simply couldn’t accept and the other one didn’t even bother to send us a quote. We then looked at flat pack kitchens and we had the choice of 3! We went with DIY Australia for a couple of different reasons:
1. Australian made product
2. Custom made - we had a difficult space that generic flat packs didn’t work!
3. Customer service - Damian was a pleasure to work with throughout.
4. A quality product - we were actually surprised by how good it was.
We would have no hesitation recommending DIY Australia to the average handyman!
We did have a couple of minor issues but with Damian’s help they were quickly and efficiently resolved! We love our new kitchen!

A big thank you to DIY Australia, for my fantastic new laundry cabinets, especially to Kate, our consultant who came up with some great suggestions and followed the renovations right through to the end.

I am very, very happy with the design and quality of the cabinets and bench top, the whole process went very smoothly from design to delivery and installation. My laundry looks amazing.

I designed my kitchen using the 3D software. Easy interactive program. When ordering I received great personal service. Nothing too much trouble. Kitchen went together perfectly with little to no adjustment. Highly recommended.
