The place is pretty cool and the staff friendly. Unfortunately I find the cabins to be quite dirty and in not the best shape. Great place to camp but not the ideal to stay in a cabin.

One of the best parks I have ever stayed in. If you are travelling to Melbourne then look no further, central location and beautiful accommodation to suit families and also those who ate budget conscious. The park is well maintained and incredibly clean, the reception staff are always helpful and the park managers are amazing! You feel you are surrounded by family.

Great value for money at DP Melbourne, with comfort and surrounding facilities making it a great spot to stay. I have stayed regularly in the cabins, which provide all the accessories that make you feel right at home. Would totally recommend.

If travelling to Melbourne with a van no problems with this place. Easy to find and well positioned. First impressions are good, friendly and helpful staff. Amenities are large and clean. Love the heated floor in the bathroom and the pool is also heated. Too much concrete and asphalt though for our liking. Would be asking for grassed site next time.

Great service but a little disappointed in the rooms. We have stayed here twice both times in deluxe cabins. These have beautiful big bathrooms and good size kitchens. The bedrooms are small without much space for luggage. Little things let it down. The knives in the kitchen both times we stated were completely blunt, sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom didn't line up properly so there was a gap etc. Nothing major and would stay here again. Free wifi is a bonus.

Excellent stop. Amenities are spotless and heated which is a real pleasure in winter. Kitchen is Large, we'll equipped and heated too. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy bus access to city.

Stayed in a budget cabin which stank (of smoke) a little noisy at times but good facilities.
The price was low so I'm grateful and the place was very convenient for my 6 night visit.
People in the office are warm and went out of their way to help me. The even lent me a public transport tag with enough money on it to get to city.

Good clean accommodation. Not entirely kids friendly like other Big4 parks. Wifi was an issue and do not reach all corners of the park.

Cabins are very nice and comfortable. Room cleaning service could be better. Laundry room has just few machines and could be improved. Wifi is not good at all. I had to move to a different cabin for 2 times in 2 weeks, really uncomfortable. Ask if you can stay in the same cabin if you book for a long period

Clean, tidy, homely feel.
Had a Deluxe Studio, very clean and tidy. Not many dishes or cutlery avaliable.
Great value for money, staff were friendly and helpful when needed.
Yes it's under a flight path but there's just the occasional aircraft and didn't notice any at night.

Edit - 2nd stay here now, changed from BIG4 to Discovery Park, still just as good. Cutlery seems to have been improved.
Pity almost all amenities in park have additional cost - including laundry, spa, sauna etc.

Great location for getting around Melbourne. We use this park twice for hoping on and off the Spirit of Tasmania day sailing. Facilities are clean. Had pool and games room. When we first arrived we were directed into our spot which helped. Second time we arrived late the keys were out the main office with clear directions to spot. WiFi like all other caravan parks works best when no other people are using. :) So wake up early before everyone else and surf away, there are data limits though.

Absolutely LOVE it here, the facilities are amazing, well maintained, and everything is always clean. The garden areas are immaculate and beautiful, as soon as you enter the park, you can hear the chirping of birds that have made this place home. The staff are amazing, and soo helpful. The pool is a generous size, with a section for the younger kids. Everyone that stays here is friendly and kind. I haven't come across anyone that is untoward.
I cannot think of anything wrong with this park, it's especially handy to have the small shopping centre right next door!
