We pop in from Melbourne every now and then. New management a couple of months ago, very personable and welcoming as a publican should be to all who visit whilst the local clientele are very friendly. Steaks are fantastic and I love the veggies that are simply cooked how veg should be. Will hopefully be stopping in for a steak and a good glass of wine tonight.

We went here for a significant family occasion and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a soup, garlic bread and a main and my wife a main. The garlic bread came OK and my wife's main, but over an hour later my soup hadn't arrived and we had to ask about it and my main was another half an hour later. Others in our group who ordered well done steaks at the same time as schnitzels, had the steaks arrive before the schnitzels. We didn't even consider having dessert, we'd had enough.
