During a recent three day tour with Gold and Relics, I had the opportunity to not only work extensively with Darren in relation to the fine tuning of device operation, but between Darren and John Tully, the guest speaker on the tour, allowed me to compare the expertise of both prospectors in relation to environment. The greatest learning taken from any of Darren's tours is the ability to sample different machines for different terrains. The subtle changes in ground noises is apparent during the tour and it is not until you are out back on your own, do you reference back to the knowledge he willingly imparts.
