Absolutely fantastic food. Presentation is immaculate and the taste was a wonderful experience. Well catered for as someone with specific dietary requirements, and all set in a lovely atmosphere.

    Will definately be back.

Absolutely fabulous lunch here. The best restaurant I’ve been to in Canberra. Exquisite food and very comfortable modern French style atmosphere and furnishings. A treat

Had an amazing dinner experience here. Went for the 7 course menu and myself and my partner were definitely full by the end of it. The food was delicious and the shiraz we picked from the menu was great, with the waiter continuously refilling our glasses from our bottle. The only comment I have is that we had to get three different pieces of cutlery changed because they were dirty (they're replaced with new sets each course so they must go through a lot!) Other than that, a memorable night for sure and a great restaurant to celebrate special occasions!

As always, a fantastic dinner out. Wonderful food, attentive service and reasonably priced. The ambience really lifts the overall experience and we enjoyed a memorable birthday dinner (4 courses) for two with a few drinks each for just over $300. Elegance without pretentiousness Heartily recommended.

Food tasted good, but portions are too small. We had the valentines set menu, and for $125 per person I think you should at least leave satisfied and we were far from it. We felt like staff were a bit lost, bringing wine (we did the pairing) after we got the course. Not much interaction or explanation from staff as well, just putting food or drinks down and going away.
Credit where it's due, the ambience was fantastic as well as noise levels.

Beautiful meal and a great wine list. Flavours were really interesting while still being familiar. The four course meal was perfectly proportioned. The decor was intriguing; certainly busy and I wouldn't have done it the same way but not bad at all. Service could have been more attentive as we had to wait to eat a course as we hadn't been able to order a wine. Pretty minor. Lovely night out.

Very nice. Equivalent to many of the best restaurants in Adelaide and Melbourne. Service was fantastic and staff friendly.

Good food in a well balanced 4 course menu (particular highlights were the poached chicken and the beef fillet & cheek). Very good wine selection. Service was very slow though.

Has to be one of, if not the best restaurant in canberra. The food, the service and the ambiance are beyond compare.
A set price menu, with although limited choices for each of the 4 courses, are exquisite and well thought out and would suit any discerning palette. Even the vegetarian diner is perfectly catered for.

To get 5 stars in an upmarket restaurant, they most be doing something special, and they are.

From elegant surroundings, to a no-nonsense menu (4 courses for $88) to amazing food - Courgette is a must visit in Canberra.

I have dined here a dozen times over the past couple of years and on each occasion they are consistent in their quality of service, restaurant atmosphere and meals. The 4 course dinner menu is well priced and you will leave feeling quite full. Highly recommend

Took the wife here for her birthday dinner. 4 courses, all amazing and a decent price. Som suggested a well paired wine. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Atmosphere was quiet without being hushed. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dinner out. (Take your mum, it'll make her feel special.)

Celebrated a birthday here, picked due to great reviews, those reviews were spot on, food was fantastic and service was exceptional. Been around a while finally was able to go. Good to see a venue still doing so well with tough competition about. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Dim lighting and oil lamps on the tables sets a nice atmosphere.
Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
The food is both creative and stimulating, often with simple ingredients. I enjoyed an entirely vegetarian meal of four courses, accompanied by a bottle of Victorian Chardonnay. An excellent evening.

Outstanding food, service & matching wines. Had a lovely romantic dinner with my husband. Oil lamps and dim lighting (but not dark by any means) set the mood. Wine sommelier named Andres was very well travelled & knowledgeable regarding the wine matching. Highly recommend this restaurant. Would dine here again without a doubt.

Amazing food and wonderfully attentive staff. We began with a lovely smoked butter with porcini mushrooms to go with our fresh bread rolls. Our entrees of prawns and croquettes set the tone for the tender beef as our main, all served with tasty accompaniments. We both picked the same dessert of a delicious "smashed" apple pie. Great wine selection available, left lunch feeling very satisfied. Will definitely return.
