Useless staff. Dirty rooms. We had asked for a room with 2 double Queen beds and we're given a room with one double bed and 2 singles and was almost defiant as if we didn't know what we booked. Will not be coming back

The check in desk assistant was lovely and helpful. They have a restaurant but we never tried it. Our room had the nosie of the highway out the front but if you get a room at the back part of the motel I am sure the noise would be better. Beds hard. Extras of anything cost.

We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms. Very modern, spacious a large bathroom and beautiful and clean. Would definitely stay here again. The pool was a huge hit with my husband and son!

BEWARE: READ THEIR RULES/POLICIES FIRST BEFORE BOOKING HERE!!!!
Kelly Davidson the manager needs to review their hotel policies!! Unreasonable, unsympathetic, uncaring. It's no wonder their hotel is ranked 11!!! We have stayed here few times before NEVER AGAIN!! Spend your money elsewhere, there are better hotels in Mackay!. We booked & have to change dates cause of work, Coral Cay hotel will not refund $314.50 (fair enough, it stated room/rate "non-refundable") but Coral Cay would not even allow to change dates to a week earlier & let us pay room rate difference. No negotiation, no good willjust happy to take our $314.50 for nothing???

Great spot, pool looked beautiful but didn't use because it was pouring rain. Room was quite adequate, would have been nice if fridge was stocked, or even have a water jug at least.

We visited Coral Cay to try their weekend pancake menu and we were not disappointed.
The menu is only available on Saturdays and Sundays and has about 6 different types of pancakes with toppings.

The pancakes themselves tasted and looked great and the flavour combination were delicious. Our waiter was a little unsure of the menu, as it wasn't printed and only on the computer. Don't let this slip you though because they are well worth it
