I had a fun time visiting a the animals. They are very well treated and taken care for as well. There's a lot of different animals to take up your time.
A great place to visit with kids. When entering the park do not forget to buy a ticket for the little park train and for holding the Koala and also buy some popcorn to feed the animals. Animals are roaming through the park freely.
Awesome value for money outing, and loved how well treated the animals are. They're freely roaming through out the grounds. My 5 year old daughter had a ball. Great priced entrance fee and train ride. Very memorable day and will certainly visit again
It's not a bad place, it's great for the kids.
I did think the place was a bit unkempt and the animals didn't have much food out. I noticed all the beautiful peacocks had their feathers cut off so they could be sold out the front in the store. I also saw a swan with a badly broken wing. Lots of cockies in cages that looked like jail cells with nothing in them to keep them entertained. I mean As I said, good for the kids but the adults can notice these things.
Great for the kids to interact with animals. The kids can feed the animals. Some of the dinosaur features are past their use by date. Needs a wee bit of TLC and I suspect some financial assistance would help them greatly. The Koalas are great. Need public support.
Loved that you have the option to carry a koala. Also, they have clever, trained parrots. Emus, ostriches, ponies all roam freely. It's smaller in size to Caversham but you have more direct interaction with animals. Very good experience.
Good for families with kids between about 3 to 10. Kids can get right up close with rhe majority of the animals. They need to look at is opening earlier, I know that its more beneficial for families to get activities done earlier in the day and 10am is a bit late. They do well with what they have.
An awesome wildlife park! The animals are able to roam around the park as they please. I have no idea why there are bad reviews for this place, it was such a great day out, you can take your own picnic and just enjoy seeing the animals. Plus the kids loved the little train ride around the park. Highly recommend!
A great place for kids. Experience the wildlife and pet the koalas. The mini train ride is nice. Having said all that this place is in need for an over haul. It will do well if the vast areas of empty places are developed and piles of rubble removed.
Gorgeous koalas. Sweet small grey kangaroo's that you can hand feed along with a few other lovely animals & birds but there is not a lot else to see and the place is a bit tatty! Only spent about an hour there so quite a lot of money really but I did what I wanted to do & that was to cuddle a koala and take as many photos as you want with your own phone!
