Great bistro, which has recently been taken over by a new crew. First of all, full marks for the side of veggies, no frozen stuff, all freshly cut and cooked. Even came with a slice of very tasty gratin potatoes. It's the little touches that matter; I'd swear that the tartare sauce was house made, and was probably the best I have ever had. The seafood basket was packed with tasty fish. The $15 menu was exceptional value, the Angus beef burger, complete with all the trimmings, was huge and succulent. The friendly staff were on point for the whole night, even when the place was absolutely packed, which was quite early on. With bistro food of this quality, I'm not surprised. They have a good selection of tap beer, and member prices. I'll certainly be back.

New bistro just opened a couple of weeks ago and so far is good. Club itself has recently had a refurb so is looking a lot better (except the terrible new red chairs in the bar that make it look like a Chinese restaurant). Good beer and a few entertainment options keep the punters happy.

Proper old school club. Nice bistro, great for kids (has a little play area for them), cheap drinks. Winning!

This review is about the eatery at the Club.
I did not know that you can stuff up pork ribs ($22). Came out all soggy that my kids refused to eat. And southern chicken wings ($10) - dripping in oil, no flavour, total waste. Even the potato wedges ($8) were just passable. I have tried other stuff before too, all sub par. Enough is enough people. Don't risk it, stick to beer at the bar.
If desperate for food, try the chinese at the Greenwell Point Bowling Club instead, or Salute Pizza at Callala Beach.
